Question:	will this work in an older Power Steamer? [model 1631]
Answer:	I am not familiar with model 1631. Bissell 2x pro deep clean works well on carpets. I suggest you visit Bissel website to determine if the product will work with your 1631 power steamer.
Question:	Since it has scotch Guard, does it mean that I'm not supposed to re-run the machine with just water to suck out all the cleaner
Answer:	Great question, you can still perform a water rinse after cleaning to remove any access formula/dirty water from your carpets but this will breakdown the Scotchgard protection quicker.
Question:	how large of an area will this item clean
Answer:	I think it depends on which machine you have; mine requires 5 oz. of cleaner per full tank. It also depends on how much you use over each pass; I've used about 20 oz and cleaned about 800-900 sq ft. Some areas I've even gone back over.
Question:	how big of an area in sqft with The 48oz 2x solution cover for mildly soiled low profile carpet
Answer:	Mine: 580 square feet moderately soiled with some stains to get out: 1.5 tanks with 1.5 caps. This is very concentrated and very effective. Cream low pile cheap apartment carpet, 10 yrs old; prior professional shampoo every six months (dog and cat). Now I only use my old Bissell and this great stuff. If you had a Spot Bot it would be even less to fully clean.

Answer:	No I put some in a water squirt bottle and pre treat the bad areas they come out fantastic its great

Answer:	I did not mix the formulas. I used one then went back with the second. With all the chemicals you can never be sure how they will react with each other and could cause harm to you or your carpet or pets
Question:	How well does it work on Odors? And what does it smell like
Answer:	I cannot explain the smell other than, clean! It works wonders on odors. I have a male dog that was pretty sure my couch was his personal potty. I used this in my bissell on my couch and the carpet. Not only did it take the urine and the odor out, but he has not been back to pee on it! Yay!
Question:	It says for upright machines. is it safe for the bissell 3624 spotclean professional portable carpet cleaner
Answer:	I also wanted to add that Bissell says this is fine in the portable machines but should not be used in proportions based on the marks on your tanks. I did a little math and figured the ratio to be more like 1/2 oz for the small marks (based on 16 oz of water for the small mark) and 1 oz of fluid for the large area mark (this is based on that being 32 oz of water). I have the 2694 Bissell. I believe most, if not all of the Bissell portables use this configuration. The uprights have a higher concentration in the solution...equating to 2.5 oz to each gallon or 5 oz per gallon for extra strength. My ratios will give you somewhere in between regular and extra strength.

Question:	Will it clean it enough to pass a black light Expection
Answer:	If there is urine or feces in the carpet, I use a the Kirby Pet Stain spray product. It's phenomenal at getting the smell out. Then I will do an all over cleaning with the shampoo. The shampoo is good for normal pet smells, any potty smells, I use the stain remover.
Question:	Does the Kirby shampoo have scotchgard in it
Answer:	The one I ordered did, yes. Looked different from the picture. If your allergy is to lavender, though, it's not a natural odor, it's synthetic, shouldn't be an issue. Now, if you just don't like lavender, then I would definitely order something else. It works great, though. 
Question:	I have an electrolux rug shampoo machine(produces foam when cleaning)-can this product be used in my machine
Answer:	I have not tried to use the shampoo with a different vacume but I don't think it would work because the Kiby make the shampoo foam up and I don't think the other vacumes would do that.
Question:	Can this be used in a rented carpet shampoo machine like hardware and grocery stores rent
Answer:	It is the same as the others...not dry but very minimum amount of water goes from the shampooer to carpet so it does dry very quickly

Question:	Do I have to use pure water after using this product? Many other brands recommend going over the area again with pure water
Answer:	I would assume so. You probably don't want to pour a lot of water on your floor. It works well for me to put cleaning solution in a mop bucket and scrub the floor the way you old school mop. I would follow up by actually mopping to remove soil left by the brush. I hope I have been helpful.
Question:	can you use this with a hoover steam cleaner
Answer:	Brush is 10" long, 3" wide. Bristles are about 2" deep.
Question:	Has anyone use it with "Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Washer", which has separate shampoo tank (shampoo not pre-mixed in water), how did it work
Answer:	Perfectly safe! The bristles are strong but not ridiculous! You'd have to scrub REAL HARD to scratch anything painted. Just used mine today to scrub my stained deck!

Answer:	Thank you for your question. This product should not be used to pretreat stains. It is to be used with a carpet cleaning machine. For home owned and rental machines, follow the machine’s directions in the user guide.

Answer:	Thanks for asking! That is hard to quantify. You will want to follow the machine directions. So if it has a fill line or formula cup you would use that. Otherwise we suggest using 6 oz of carpet shampoo to a gallon of water. How much product you need depends on how much liquid the machine disperses, how many times the carpet needs to be cleaned, etc. We hate that we could not be more specific for you. Answer:	I have a Bissell machine that I used it in. It says it works in all upright machines. I have owned a Bissell for years and used multiple brands of shampoo through it with success. I recently ran pure vinegar in it to help with an area the dogs just would not leave alone. I was not concerned about damage though. I figured it would solve the problem or the carpet was ruined anyways. I have carpet padding that is supposed to protect from the liquids soaking into the subfloor so just needed to impact the carpet area.

Answer:	Not familiar with "instant" variety. I use Kids n Pets spray for my kitty's litter box and it is fantastic. Faint yet nice smell. Non-toxic for her. Kills odors. Because of my success with it, I decided to try the carpet shampoo offering. It is just as great. Carpet looks great and produces a nice yet gentle "clean" smell. The fact that it is non-toxic is the cherry on top.
Question:	Does it remove cat pee odors
Answer:	Hello, thank you for your question! You are able to dilute this and put in a spray bottle. However, there is not a set dilution rate amount that we recommend for a spray bottle. For home-owned and rental carpet cleaning machines, it is recommended that you use 2.5 ounces of Professional Pet Stain & Odor Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner Machine Solution per 1 gallon of water.
