Teak Cleaner & Brightener

For badly weathered, grey or black teak, apply Teak Cleaner & Brightener directly to dry wood. Use a Star brite Red medium Scrub Pad or Teak Scrub to spread product evenly. Allow to remain on surface for 2-3 minutes before scrubbing. Scrub in the direction of wood grain to ensure deep cleaning. Then rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

Severely dirty or stained wood may require a second application and scrubbing.

I’m going into my second year and only a couple of the pieces need to be redone. After cleaning you will need to put a treatment on the teak.

If that is not possible, you will need to rinse off the cleaner and the brightener, which can go down the drain, but use a dropcloth to avoid oil spills or drips on the tile or grout to avoid slippery tiles and possible stains of the grout. Ensure adequate ventilation, too, please.

Answer:	This a protectant. 303 also has a cleaner you can use to prep before treatment. I use 303 cleaner and 303 protectant on my Audi A5 convertable top and it is very effective to repell water and dirt. I hope this was helpful. Enjoy!

Question:	Which product would be best for protecting a new teak wood shower bench, shield, or protector, or do I use both? Also, do I need the cleaner
Answer:	Thank you for reaching out to us! Using our teak products on a shower bench is not a situation we not a situation we encounter often, so these are our best suggestions: Using the Teak Protector product would slow the growth of mold and mildew on your shower bench. Since it will be exposed to frequent water-usage, the product will likely wear off quicker than it would if it was being used outdoors. It would probably wear off in just a few months. You will know that the protector has worn off when you see mold and mildew build up on your shower bench. At that time, you will want to use our Teak Cleaner product to remove that, and reapply the protector. The Teak Shield will likely not be very useful, since it doesn't make the furniture water-proof--it just makes it resistant to water-stains as long as the spill is cleaned up within 15 minutes. Since this item will be exposed to frequent water-usage, the shield likely wouldn't hold up well. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Answer:	You do not need teak cleaner unless the teak products have gone to the silvery gray color that teak wood is know for. Usually you can just clean your products with Dawn Soap, water and a soft brush. rinse and apply a thin coat of teak oil. I also help to not allow shampoos and soaps to sit on your products for long periods of time..
Question:	I have kitchen cabinets that are finished and have a clear protective glaze(finish) over the stain.. will this product clean them without harming
Answer:	No, this product will not harm your cabinets.

Answer:	0000 steel wool is very fine, it works as a great applicator for the Beeswax, this way you do not waste the Beeswax by putting it on with a cloth.

Answer:	What I would recommend is, buy the Touch of Oranges Wood Cleaner, this is a great cleaner to remove any dirt, grease, there are instructions to clean the cabinets, use 0000 steel wool, go with the grain of the wood, use terry cloth towels to wipe the surface down, then you are ready for the finish, which is your Touch of Beeswax, let this set for a couple of hours when you apply, come back and wipe down any excess oil, the cabinets should look great.
