Answer:	I am really NOT sure what it can do these days. I bought it years ago and it was perfect at removing rust around sink & faucet. I purchased it a few years ago and they claim it is the same product but it too the finish off my faucet when I put it around the base. The finish on my faucet was brushed chrome so if your ehaust pipe is shiny chome it probably would do the trick. Answer:	Any metal capable of rust will be prone to rust if exposed to humid environments. The simple solution is after cleaning with EvapoRust is painting it to protect it.

Answer:	With the evapo rust, you need to make sure there are no oils, grease, etc prior to being on the metal when you soak the evapo rust. Once you soak the evapo rust and the rust has been removed, the product has done its job. You do want to wash it off afterwards and dry it. To keep it from re rusting is another problem in of itself. We have a product called rust block that comes in either a trigger spray or aerosol can. Spray a layer of it on there and it will keep the object from re- rusting for up to a year

If you a removing a stain from flat surface, cover with plastic and apply painters blue tape around edges and let sit for 12 hours. Has always worked on even the toughest stains. Answer:	I've used it on some of my automotive suspension parts, coated it with another acrylic coating, and it has all held up pretty well IMO. I think if you prep the surface properly and thoroughly, it should hold up pretty decently.

Answer:	It can be sprayed but would not be effective, Parts need to be submerged for 1 to 2 days maybe more depending on the amount of rust.

Answer:	Cleaning the item down to rust only would likely get you the best results for removing the rust. As for your question, I do not know how much of the effectiveness would be reduced if the item is oily or greasy - I am guessing it would be reduced by the degree of oil and/or grease present.
Question:	I need to get rusty water stains off of brick. What is best to use for this
Answer:	I do not know for sure if it can be applied on large parts. The directions says to "immerse" the part. I used it to clean the internal (water jacket) part of a Model A engine. I never did try it by applying to a part and letting the part set. It does take some time so you would have to keep the part wet all the time (probably at least a few hours) for it to work. For frame cleaning I used the POR-15 40701 Rust Remover. It worked pretty well on lightly rusted metal.
