Answer:	Are you using fresh water each day? I've had this for a month or so and haven't notched that.. I rinse it out and put fresh water in it each night, and have given it a good clean once a a week. I use young living thieves cleaner.. I spray the inside and use a small scrub brush and spray with the kitchen faucet sprayer.

Answer:	If you have hard water or any particulates in the water, it will probably eventually gum up the works. I use a Brita pitcher to fill with. I do not use unfiltered tap water. It took about three refill cycles to get the factory dust out of it, then it was clean when refilling it the fourth time. It lasts overnight when running on low. On high, about 6 hours. But it does put out a great mist. Very happy with this purchase for my mom's bedroom.

Answer:	I just purchased mine and read the label. It makes no sense to say distilled water will cause blocking but tap water won't. I'll be using distilled because it will not leave the deposits tap water would for me.

Answer:	Sorry I’m not here to answer your question I was actually just reading about the product and wanted to make sure anyone who read this knew not to mix vinegar and bleach it’s toxic. Personally, I wash my humidifier with soap, hot water, and a wash cloth, scrub it well rinse it out and let it dry and use vinegar if it’s particularly gross.
