User questions & answers

Question: Can this cleaner remove cigarette smoke and nicotine from coils
Answer: Yes it did for my ac. I sprayed it on the inside coil and let it work and then sprayed it again to get it all clean. Then I used a fine spray of warm water from a pump sprayer to flush everything out. Don’t forget to clean your filter and wipe down all the vents as far as you can reach.. I used simple green for that.. no more musty mold smell
Question: Will this help rid the damp moldy smell I’m getting from my unit
Answer: Yes, I use one can a year. I clean my AC coils in the spring, so it's just about a year before I use it again, and it works just as good as when I first got the can. I hope this helps.
Question: expiration date, can I buy now to use 6 months from now
Answer: The product contains water, this is not great when it splatters over the condenser motor. Use the condenser coil cleaner instead.
Question: can this product be used to clean refrigerator coils
Answer: I used it for window units it worked well.

User questions & answers

Question: Can this be used to clean, disinfect and deodorize a window a/c
Answer: I removed two different tubes from cans of WD40 and tried to get them into the nozzle of the Foam Blaster just to answer this question but they wouldn't fit, so not sure if you can find one small enough to work in these cans. That being said, I don't think you will really need to. When I pulled my indoor coil out I was able to get the spray into the vast majority of the coil fin spaces. Once the spray gets onto the fins it expands into a foam that migrates to the hard to reach places, as long as you get within a couple inches to those hard to actually spray onto places. This foam cleaner worked very well for me but I did need to do a second treatment because our coil had become very dirty as well as had some cat hair in it due to a filter being left off for a couple weeks because the stores were completely out of our size filters.
Question: Can you attach a plastic tube to the nozzle to redirect the spray to a tough to reach area
Answer: Hi Mars, Thank you for your question, and we appreciate your interest in HVAC Guys Foam Blaster. The listing is for one 19 oz. foam blaster. We hope you find this answer helpful. Question: Is this 1 or 3 as picture
Answer: Hi lavon, Thank you for your question, and we appreciate your interest in the HVAC Guys Foam Blaster by Leak Saver. Yes, this can be used on the air conditioner coil. However, this is not meant for use on the burners. We hope you'll find this answer helpful! Question: Can this be used on the coil inside the furnace
Answer: Yes, it is designed to be used around food in refrigerators so I think it would be fine in any radiator situation.

Answer: I can’t say for sure, but it does do a professional grade job. It cleaned my window unit to like new condition and they cool much better.
Question: Is this what professional air conditioning installers use
Answer: Yes, you will need a pump sprayer. The cleaner is concentrated so follow the mixing directions and put it in your pump sprayer. Follow the application directions and apply to the coils, allow to sit for about 10 minutes, then simply rinse off. Additionally, the cleaner is environmentally friendly. It did not harm any of the vegetation surrounding the AC unit.
