Molly’s Suds began when founder & CEO, Monica, unexpectedly lost her daughter Molly, at birth. How to Use Our Unscented Laundry Powder

For a normal, full-size load of laundry, add 1 tablespoon of Laundry Powder directly to the drum of your washer. Do this for standard machines, HE machines, and those with a detergent drawer — and here’s why. The Laundry Powder will fall through the holes in the drum, where it will immediately begin mixing with the water. This early agitation will provide a more effective wash. If you’ve got heavily soiled laundry or particularly stinky clothes, add up to 1 full additional scoop of Laundry Powder.

Helpful Tip: Choose warm water for all your laundry, unless the label clearly states otherwise. Warm water provides a deeper clean, while cold water (under 70 degrees) may not dissolve the Laundry Powder completely. Turn up the temp a touch and your residue problem (and Laundry Powder) will disappear!

No Suds? No Problem!

Our Unscented Laundry Powder is formulated to thoroughly clean without creating lots of suds. Why? Because suds aren’t necessary for clean laundry! Most suds are created through the use of harmful, chemical surfactants. In fact, excessive suds can actually inhibit effective laundering.

Answer:	Yes. The scent is "crisp clean" as per the front of the bucket.

Answer:	You can buy that in a bottle and add as needed so you don't ruin everything else. Go easy, a little bleach goes a long way and if your having problems with mold in you washer you need to address that directly. Spray and wipe bleach solution on all suspect areas, gloves please, bleach melts skin, and run a no clothes cycle with double rinse and make sure it dries between washings. Along with leaving the lid open between washings you can run an electric hair dryer in the barrel when you can attend it. Then if possible get your self an old style washer that works, loads from the top and has no computer. I suggest an Estate if they are legal to own in your local.

Question:	Instructions say to first wash load of rags AND to use hard water additive which I didn't order. What happens if I wash in hard water w/o additive
Answer:	You won't need the water softener if you have soft water. The instructions are there because Charlie's Soap will wash the machine out, and it will do it with whatever load you start with. The last thing you want is for junk to fall off the drum and land on your new top from the Gap...or whatever store is hip today. ;)
Question:	How does this work for cloth diapers? And HE machines
Answer:	For my cloth diapers, I wash them in a load of homemade powder detergent (1 cup borax, 1 cup washing soda, 1 bar of ivory soap - powdered together in a food processor). Then, I wash them again with a scoop of charlies soap & 1/4 cup white vinegar in the liquid fabric softener area. it works great, and I've experimented with A LOT of different detergents & combinations!

Answer:	I thought I would get 6 pens. But I received it today & there's only 3 pens.

Answer:	This works best on smaller stains. Sweat stains are usually on a much larger area. I’ve have a lot of success removing those with a product like Spray n Wash, worked into the stain before a wash. It would take forever and you’d need all three pens or more liquid to remove underarm and neck stains.

Answer:	ALL Automatic dishwasher detergents are low foaming!!!!

Answer:	Unfortunately, I don't know whether this has phosphate or not. I have used it in my idshwasher for many years because it is the only one that does not create too many suds which run over and flood my floors.
