Answer:	I can't recall how the product worked. Its been so long since I've used it. A few years back I had a can of 7Up explode in the back seat cupholder and after the liquid dried the stains were brown colored like Pepsi....I tried a couple different interior cleaner, but none of them would remove the stains...........I looked on Youtube over last winter and there are a few videos there of a guy using the blue Dawn dish washing liquid in a spray bottle with hot water. His filthy seats and carpets from years of neglect came out looking like new. Even the brown soda stains from spilled Coke came out............I tried it this past spring and it worked......Spray on the dawn and hot water over the entire seat and rub a little then let dry......Vacuuming is optional....good luck.

Answer:	I will vacuum it when the carpet is still wet, if need be. The stain has as already been separated from the carpet fibers after scrubbing it with the cleaner. But like Matthew mentioned, it doesn't take long, but i don't know a precise time off hand.
