Wood, as you know, is reactive to moisture, so using a lot of is on a wood surface can cause fibers to expand. This is most problematic at seams and in older floors. This mop and bucket are great for more sensitive floors like wood because you can really press out excess water, leaving the mop head just damp--which is perfect for that thorough clean, especially when paired with a wood treatment.
