Answer:	This tool designed just for moving plate glass or glass tile and sheet plexiglass. I do not believe it is designed to be used as a handle or railing. It will not stay attached in a shower because of the hot/ cold expansion-contraction that takes place in that environment. This could detach and cause a fall or injury. Use stainless steel bathroom and shower rails for safety. These rails should be installed through the wall with fasteners to prevent detachment.

Answer:	We lifted a tempered glass panel with near the same dimensions as you indicate using two ( 2 ) Suction Cup Lifters. There was no distortion to the glass plate with the application of the vacuum and provided a very strong attachment. On the other hand, vacuum release came quickly with the lifting of the toggles.
