Question:	The handle on the unit appears far too long. Does this create a tendency for the unit to tip over on the handle side when wringing
Answer:	My husband and I only recently went to work trying to decide where and how to attach the ringer. What we came up with was this and it works famously: We had about a 33 gallon galvanized trash can that we screwed the ringer onto one side. We knew it would tip since the can is so light, so we filled it about 1/2 to 2/3 full of water which holds it stable. You can then just use the water or dip it out for watering plants, etc. We are considering putting some castors on the bottom of the trashcan so we can roll it around, but we haven't tried that yet. It's pretty simple the way it is! Hope this helps!

Answer:	We use it to wring out oil soaked absorbants, which get quite thick, and yes, it's a bit difficult to run them thru the device. There doesn't seem to be an adjustment that can be made either that might widen the gap between the rollers. The wringer may work better with thin chamois', but we haven't tried it.

Answer:	The rollers turn in both directions, so it wouldn't matter which hand you use. The drip tray, which slants to have the water run off into a bucket, or whatever, is adjustable, so it can be tilted to either side. There are a lot of adjustments that can be made on it, including the pressure on the rollers. Once you have it all adjusted, be sure to tighten all the screws good and tight. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes. There is a nut and bolt holding the clamp portion to the body of the wringer. Loosening this will allow you to modify the direction of the clamps.

Answer:	Probably not. The effective width of the wringer is only about 11 inches. The bag would have to be folded several times to make it narrow enough to feed into the wringer. Folded like that, the bag would be very thick, and I don't think the wringer could be opened up enough the feed the bag through. This wringer is really only useful for a chamois or drying towel you would use on your car.

Answer:	I've had mine for 2 years. I use it every day for second spin from full size washing machine. A full size load equals 3 loads for the spinner. I do a average of 2 full size loads of laundry a day, which equals 6 spin dryer loads. I do "double" spins (10 minute) on each spin dryer load. 6 x 2= 12. The spin washer is used 12 times a day here 4,380 spins each year. So I'm up to 8,700 and this number doesn't include all the times the kids use it after the pool. I beat on it, the kids defininately beat on it (even taking it outside for the towels etc ... it gets loaded wrong and banged up, it gets knocked over banged up, etc etc. It still works great. One of the top purchase I've made. Just in the laundry, after the spin dryer the regular dryer only has to go for 40 minutes on "delicate" mode i.e., the very low heat mode. The Average water pulled out of the X Large washing load is over 1/2 a gallon of water and that's from a high efficient washing machine. From my old non efficient model I would get a little over 3/4 gallon. Look up how much emerge it takes to steam off 1/2 - 3/4 gallon of water. Its significant. Plus all the extra left in soap it pulls on and with the low heat there is less heat damage to the clothes. It is an awesome little machine. My only modification I would make is to have an adjustable timer from 5 minute to 15. Other that thank. Its perfect.

Answer:	yes, i used the broom handle right away, didn't even bother with the sticks it came with. The broom handle felt sturdier and allowed me to stand upright.
Question:	How many up and down pumps do you have to do to get the laundry clean? I am washing my clothes in a 5 gallon bucket
Answer:	First, i must say that it all depends on how dirty the clothing is. I am a 72 year old woman with no clothing to wash but my own and I rarely get my clothing very dirty except for the occasional spill. I do my wash in a 5 gallon bucket, and I only wash a few (less than 10) pieces at a time so that they can move around in the wash water. Having said that, I have found that my clothes are clean and ready to be rinsed after about 15 to 20 pumps. I then empty the water, wring out the clothes, refill the bucket with rinse water and pump another 10 to 15 times. Then I empty that water, wring and rinse again, but without using the pump again. Then I wring the clothes out and hang them to dry. I really like it and it saves a lot of money!!!

Answer:	I'll give my experience. In my first month of use the shaft pulled apart. The blue T handle attaches to a piece of cast metal which is press-fit onto the first section of aluminum shaft. The aluminum shaft pulled free from the cast metal part on the upstroke. I do not use it too vigorously, and in fact I am disabled primarily due to my weak and damaged heart, so I purposefully do not overexert. In any case it simply pulled free. I used a bead of Shoe Goo inside the metal piece and pressed the shaft back into place where it has been ever since. Buy this, and a tube of Shoe Goo for when you pull it apart. Another bright side: It uses standard broom stick threading so you could always pick up a wooden handle if need be. I *STILL* recommend it over a plunger which I used for years before getting this.

Answer:	People do put these on some 5 gallon buckets but most buckets have to flex a little for it to fit. Also, the bucket would need to be filled with sand or water to make it heavy enough. Answer:	It's about 5'9ish and can comfortably live in a corner when you are using it. It is collapsible so you can put it away when not using. However I would recommend you plug it in inside but put it outside. Your space will become humid and stuffy

Answer:	The equation P=IE, (power equals current times voltage) and related formulae are written for direct current (DC) power. (So at the risk of sounding like a pretentious jerk, anyone plugging the AC numbers straight into the DC equation is going to give you incorrect answers.) To use this formula for an alternating current (AC) device, you'd need to multiply the actual supply voltage by 0.707, (half of the square root of two, or more precisely 0.7071067812... --it's an irrational number-- but generally truncated to 0.707,) this reflects the ACTUAL AVERAGE height (or depth) of each alternation of the alternating current sine wave above zero volts in such a circuit. (The DC equivalent of an AC peak voltage is also called the root-mean-square or RMS voltage.) Pretending that a 110 VAC outlet is cranking out 110 volts DC-equivalent and you can just plug that right into ohm's law (E=IR) or other related things (P=IE) is just setting yourself up for failure. Sadly, however, things aren't really even that simple in the real world. The dryer is likely not, 100% of the time, a purely resistive load, and the output of an RV's inverter is likely not a clean, smooth, perfect sine wave. To be safe, if it were me, I'd probably want to make sure whatever I plug a device like that into can handle at least a 12 amp draw on the AC side, and then make sure the power system the inverter is plugged into can handle THAT, plus whatever overhead the inverter itself, (they tend, like most electronic devices subject to the laws of thermodynamics, not to be 100% efficient,) is going to need. The inverter is likely going to put out a certain amount of heat in the process of taking your 12 to 13.7 VDC and making of it 115 +/- 5 VAC. That heat is a loss of power that is going to need to be drawn from the batteries or whatever is, in turn, keeping THEM charged up... i.e., your RV's generator, alternator, solar panels, wind generator, or RV park's "shore power" or whatever. That power that is lost there is the cost of operating the device, and also has to be accounted for. Just saying. Answer:	First off only other big dryers can compare to other big dryers. This how ever still gets the job done. 90 minutes is all you need to dry a full rack(12 hangers). It's queit and so easy to assemble and dissasemble.

Answer:	I had the thermostat in my apartment set at 70 degrees, and after about 4 consecutive hours of use, my thermostat was reading 73 degrees. So, yes, it does warm up the room slightly.

Answer:	Not recommended. Silk is a fiber that is hard to wash. Using the washboard may cause damage. Wash it by hand, please.

Answer:	The one I bought is a nice thick plastic material. I don’t doubt I could stand on it, but I’, mot going to test it because I don’t need to stand on it.however, the picture shows is a different product, now, and does not look strong enuf to stand on. Mine is circular. The one shown is rectangle.

Question:	Would there be any way to connect an electric drill to the spinning mechanism at the center and use the drill to spin clothes extra fast
Answer:	Not a good idea. If you want something that wlll spin your clothes extra fast to get most of the water out, BUY AN EXTACTOR! I have one. I seldom use it but if I wash jeans or towels, then use it and THEN sometimes, even go to my building's laundromat to use their dryer because #1 it is cheaper than the commercial Laundromats and #2 most commercial laundromats will NOT let you use their dryers if you did not use their washing machines. BUT
Question:	Does it actually ring out a decent amount of water or are clothes still fairly wet at the end
Answer:	If you are only doing it for a couple times...then ya it might still be a little dripping wet. But I actually have the spiket line open while spinning it so I can visually see the amount off water and that tells me how much more spinning to do. This thing is awesome for everything camping , when the electricity went out just recently. Use very very little water. Cold I suggest. Have fun!
Question:	Did two small loads with new Pod. A very large amount of plastic shavings came off when spinning. Is this normal, or do I have a defective unit
Answer:	This is NOT NORMAL (in that it's safe or should be accepted, or used). But it IS the way it is. Click on the One Star reviews and you will see others who say this, MacGuiver and Cris . . . etc. "flaked" off. I had this same problem. I returned it with a specific note to HSN (where I had purchased it). They actually stopped selling this for a while but then later I saw they were advertising again.I think the product DESIGN & MATERIALS are INFERIOR (but not in the eyes of the company who makes this), not just your particular one. IMO, it's very dangerous for our lungs and eyes to have those shavings flying around. Some will be so small we will inhale them. I sure did. I was very disappointed in mine. I would sure just send it back and call in advance to insist they pay for postage pre-paid since they have been formally alerted to this issue (by myself). Chances are, if we both had this happen (and the other person who responded . . . likely others), it's the design and cheap materials used. Sorry. Too many likely just accept it, not realizing how dangerous it can be with tiny plastic shreds in our nasal passages, lungs & eyes.When I contacted the company who makes this directly, I was discounted. They paid zero attention to this. Apparently, they have not corrected the problem even now, years later.I would also alert Amazon as, IMO, any company who sells this, is also at fault.
Question:	I see that someone used this for jeans. But does it work on towels? What is the capacity, approximately
Answer:	The volume of the actual basket the clothes go in is 606 cubic inches, or about 2.6 gallons. Doesn't sound bad until you realize that's the same volume capacity as a cube that's 8.45 inches on each side. By comparison, the sink in the RV that I'd hoped to stop using for clothes when camping is 1,046 cubic inches, 13.5" x 15.5" x 5" deep...and I can at least move the clothes up and out of the water as I hand-wash them. I can't get a pair of jeans--actual normal denim jeans; I'm 6'2"--squashed down to that size, at least not in a thin plastic basket and still have enough room for water to adequately circulate around and through the garment. Unfortunately, about the only things this was useful for were dishtowel-sized towels, T-shirts, underwear, and socks. It proved not to be worth the space it took up in the RV.

Answer:	I don't see why not. It's like a manual wringer washer. Seems like a lot of bending, but maybe for you bending is preferable to wringing.

Answer:	In my opinion, not very well. The bucket is small, so you wouldn't be able to fit anything like jeans. The rollers and attachments aren't that strong, so I'm not sure you would be able to apply enough pressure to really extract the water from the clothing.I think you would be better off hand wringing your clothes than trying to use this or any other mop type bucket.

Answer:	The bowl is 5 liters, which is about 5 quarts, or 20 cups. As big, or bigger than most other salad spinners. You probably wouldn't want to pack it tightly to capacity. But it easily holds the greens for a salad for 4 to 8 servings.

Answer:	You might have some leakage but basically the water goes in the direction of the little plastic shield...

Answer:	I don't think it would work well since only one of the rollers is driven. The other is friction drive and I think this would tend to tear the dough easily.
