Answer:	I've had a very difficult time opening it and I have freakishly strong hands & am the official "jar opener" anywhere I go. And even I couldn't open it the first time. What worked for me is to run a thin-bladed knife (or a thin flat head screw driver) through the opening between the lid and the base. That helps pop it open the first time. Then successive openings have been no problem. Just twist the upper lid to take it off. Hope this helps.

Answer:	No it's plastic. I don't know about the other colors but I'm assuming they're the same.

Answer:	There's no single answer to this question. If the space is dry in general, the moisture will be absorbed more rapidly on either setting and the unit will empty and shut off sooner irrespective of room size. The amount of heat being radiated into a room as well as the humidity outside are probably the biggest factors. I own two units that are currently used in room between 150 and 220 sq. ft. and have tested it successfully in a 340 sq. ft. room; I'll be purchasing another one for that space.

Answer:	It has a low and high setting. The low setting will last about 12 hours. The high setting lasts about 9 hours. The unit has four timer settings in the following minute increments: 60, 90, 120 and auto which runs until the unit senses it is out of water. I have ran this daily in my house, and it works for the whole house.

Answer:	I don't think you can remove the lights but it has an option to use the most with out any lights as well as use the light with no mist. 😊 It's definitely worth the money.
