Answer:	the head is 1.5 and the yellow part adds .2 so 1.7" total. the hose detaches so if you can get the bucket open you could put the pump inside and run the hose through a smaller opening

I covered mine with a zip lock bag to protect from splashes, and you can push the power button through plastic. So far so good here; shower is good, but it sucks through the water fast, so plan accordingly. You will hear the sound change when the water is gone, turn the battery off immediately to protect the pump.

Answer:	It is not required to have baking soda in the fridge. Most people use it for smelly stuff like onion, fish or other refrigerated foods with strong odors. It does have the ability to absorb some bacteria but if you've got moldy foods you should throw them out any way. It's a preference to have it, not a requirement.

Answer:	We were just looking for replacements as well. I do not see them available. It is ridiculous that Arm & Hammer would not sell the refill pads with indicator strips. At least the plastic frame it had was a #5 recyclable material. But I will not buy any more until they market a refill
