Answer:	I would guess it would be big on a 6-year-old's head, but I believe the straps would be able to be tightened enough to keep it in place. There are probably better solutions than this for a child.Be aware though that this can get cold enough to cause damage to the skin if there's nothing between it and the face, such as a hand towel. I'm not sure I'd trust a child to use this correctly without adult supervision, and then without fairly close supervision.
