Answer:	THis picture isn't like the extender I purchased. The one I got is white and was mounted in m y sunroom. However, the electrical plug quit working and I had to move in out in my breezeway. So far so good. Think I will put some kind of protection between it and the north open wall near it. Only time will tell how the exposure affects it.

The suction cups aren't moveable so if you tried to fit it in a car it would likely bunch up and you would only use 10% of it. There would be other products that are a better use.
