Answer:	I like to make a 1/3-1/3-1/3 solution of this cleaner, white vinegar, and water. Then put the mixture into a foaming hand-soap dispenser. Answer:	Each are packaged separately. There is no expiration date on the HME devices so I would imagine that they would last quite a while, however I have no data on longevity per. I travel 46-48 weeks per year and use one per business week, so have not typically had a single SME that was not any older than 3-4 months in my storage. I would think that a year or so would be fine. I hope this helps.

How to clean your CPAP Tubing

Use a mild detergent and warm water.

Rinse thoroughly with cool water

Keep the tube as straight as possible and gently work the brush in a back and forth motion, in short strokes, gradually working further inside the tube.



Avoid aggressive use when cleaning. The fan tipped brush will reduce stress to tubing walls. However, it is recommended the CPAP tube be kept straight as possible during cleanings to avoid unnecessary wear or damage.



When done cleaning, thoroughly rinse tube with a stream of cool water, Gently pat the bristles until dry to the touch and hang somewhere where there is air circulation. Carefully loosen and straighten tube brush, maintaining a hold on both ends. Once unwound, we suggest finding somewhere to hang the brush.

I allow about 3 hours to completely clean my CPAP equipment. Most of the time is waiting. I do not attend the machine while it is cleaning the pieces. I spend maybe 20 minutes total in changing the bath water, preparing & rinsing the cleaned pieces, and finally rinsing the machine afterwards.

Answer:	That was a real disappointment when I purchased this item. The one with mint is much better but was not available at the time I purchased the grapefruit.

Answer:	I hook mine up to my machine and turn the machine on, I have the heated tube, it only takes a few minutes to dry. My sleep therapist told me I could use this method and it has been working really well for me. (the inside of my hose is ridged so if I don't do this, it takes forever to dry).

How to clean your CPAP Tubing Use a mild detergent and warm water.

Rinse thoroughly with cool water Keep the tube as straight as possible and gently work the brush in a back and forth motion, in short strokes, gradually working further inside the tube. Avoid aggressive use when cleaning.



The fan tipped brush will reduce stress to tubing walls. However, it is recommended the CPAP tube be kept straight as possible during cleanings to avoid unnecessary wear or damage. When done cleaning, thoroughly rinse tube with a stream of cool water, Gently pat the bristles until dry to the touch and hang somewhere where there is air circulation. Carefully loosen and straighten tube brush, maintaining a hold on both ends.
