Answer: Don’t think so. Not cold enough but this is not a good product. Not enough gel!

Answer: It does not have a cover for it. I recommend using a pillowcase or if it is still to cold use 2 pillowcases. If you use a towel it tends to prevent to coldness from penetrating to your muscles correctly. I hope the information helps.
