Answer:	Its the gasket that makes it waterproof not tightness. When you fasten down the clip, which is my favorite of all the pill boxes I have ever had. Answer:	The overall size is 9” x 4. 1/2” x 1 inch. Each compartment’s inside measurement is 1 3/8” x 1 1/8” x 7/8”. Each compartment can hold about 15 to 25 pills depending on how big or small each pill is. One would need to be taking a huge number of meds to fill up one of the compartments.
