| Answer: | The larger pads we purchased are approximately 10.5 x 21 inches and the larger pads seem to be more reliable than the small pad. We own 3 of the larger size pads and had one of the small pads. We continue to enjoy the three larger pads regularly. The smaller pad no longer works but I also don't know how long I used it and it is out of the warranty period. The larger pads are better for lumbar pain while sitting on the couch or on shoulders. The smaller pad was acceptable for lumbar use but we wouldn't buy that one again because the larger pads are much more comfortable and effective. For lumbar pain I use the pad along with a lumbar support pad on the couch. I also mainly use the large pad on the lowest setting even with clothes on. Sometimes I'll kick it up to medium for a short time. It's rare that I ever use the high setting. |
