Winter months it can smell different than when it's stored in a warehouse and sits in a UPS truck in high heat. The product will have slight variations, but we believe we are staying true to the original formula percentages on the ingredients that do the work to help your skin. Answer:	This is an excellent after-bite cream. It works! I have used it on my 3 kids and they always stop complaining. I also use the Aveeno Anti-Itch concentrated lotion, when they get a rash due to mosquito bites, like poson Ivy, and it is amazing. I would say it does dry out the bites.
