Answer:	I ordered mine in December 2018, expiration date on mine is January 2020.

Answer:	I have been using a saline spray like this for many years. Durning the late fall and winter months my nose gets very dry and congested. A spray like this helps a lot. They have an expiration date of about two years. I have continued to use for longer than that with no issues. As long as there is only one user I don't see a problem of using until the product is used up. If you have had a very serious infection, you might want to replace sooner or if it is contaminated is some way.

Answer:	It's a mist going in. You can verify that by squirting some into the air. You are not expected to "put your head down" as another person says, to do this. It's far from a waste of money, PeninTx. If you do it 1-2-3 times per day, like upon getting up and before going to bed or when you get into the house from outdoor chores. If you are prone to sinus infections, congestion, and flares, you will surely reduce your incidence of them if you are regular and persistent in your use of saline nasal irrigation. NEVER us with tap water, mind you. Better to use the premixed packets to the correct strength per measure of clean water than to guess and mess around with salt, which is no longer recommended, whatever people of a certain age did as children "sniffing up salt water" for congestion. Today, it's distilled or boiled water only. Use the saline mix packets. They're inexpensive and convenient. I prefer the bottle to the "pot" if I use anything other than this mist version. Read the literature on the hazards of tap water and incorrect saline solution, available in scary detail all over. Please check our this answer to another questioner: Some is going to run out. Gravity does that. The path into your sinuses is not straight up. Insert the nozzle into your nostril so that you angle the business end where the mist comes out toward the outside corner of the eye on that side of your face (same side as the nostril you are shooting the solution into). If you use a saline bottle with purified water, it's the same: you angle the nozzle toward the outside corner of the eye to get the solution up into the sinuses. After doing this you can hang down as if you were going to touch your toes (if you can do that safely) to get more solution up higher. Some will come out when you straighten up. I've been at this for over 20 years with one appliance or another and it will curb your sinus problems enough to make the trouble worth it is my experience.

Answer:	I hold my head straight up. I use enough that it runs out and I use a tissue then to wipe my nose. I feel the more I get up in the nostril the better. Remember, it's safe it's just a saline solution, salt water won't hurt you, well on a cut it will, but not up your nose. It really helps clear you nose. I used sleep apnea machine and my nose gets clogged and sore, the solution really helps. good luck

Answer:	I got the giant size and it appears to have baking soda (listed as sodium bicarbonate). I have the Nasal Mist and use it everyday. I love it. I no longer have to use prescription nasal sprays and I am very clear now, even all night!! Yes, it does have a long nozzle on it and it is quite comfortable to use. This is great.

It is offered only by third-party sellers like myself (who buy it at places like Walmart). :) My typical customer is someone who doesn't live close to a Walmart, or perhaps doesn't drive, or maybe leads an extremely busy lifestyle and needs to pay someone to shop for them. That is essentially what they are doing when they buy from me - pay me to shop for them. Answer:	These are more than just salt. The baking soda buffers the saline solution, making it less irritating. I see no reason you can't gargle with this, but cheap table salt is probably at least as good. You can make the same thing a lot cheaper with pure salt (not iodized or with preservatives) and baking soda, but these single-use packets are convenient and cost only ~10 cents/use.

Answer:	These contain 2.3 g of sodium and 0.7 g of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) per packet. Neil med contains 2.0 g of sodium plus not-listed baking soda. To be isotonic with the blood's usual max. of 0.145M sodium concentration, there should be a max. of 2.01 g of sodium per 8 fluid oz. of water (yes, I am a certified master chemist with a graduate degree from IIT). Overdoing it by 15% -as is done here- should be negligible and possibly beneficial since it would tend to make blood vessels push out liquid and reduce pressure but it's probably dilute enough to not have any effect. Note that 0.7 g of baking soda increases the molar concentration of sodium by only 0.02, which is negligible.

Answer:	From what have researched, it is PROLONGED exposure to metal that is the issue. Here is a comment from a website dedicated to info on colloidal silver: "Colloidal silver should not be allowed to come into prolonged contact with metal, because the metal can negate the electrical charge on the silver particles, causing them to fall out of suspension and coat the bottom of your storage container. So if you use a jar with a metallic lid, don't fill the jar to the brim with colloidal silver. Instead, only fill the jar to within an inch or so of the top. Answer:	Yes I would agree that if you are using heavy oils, these may not produce your desired results. If you can dilute the oils, or even warm them to to increase the viscosity, that may work. But the mist it puts out is really really fine....

Answer:	I think you would be on the verge of nuts if you used this for fentanyl. I am no fentanyl expert, but I do know it's measured in micrograms and is among the most powerful opiates on the market. It is 50-100 times stronger than Morphine. Why would you not use the spray bottle it comes in? Please do not use this for fentanyl.

Answer:	While the sprayer pump mechanism is manufactured for use in water based solutions, we have many customers who also include essential oils and other ingredients successfully. The key to it working well and correctly in these cases, is a high ratio of water to other ingredients. Salt crystals, for instance, if not fully dissolved, can get pulled into the mechanism, rendering it unable to function. Too heavy of an oil concentration MAY cause the sprayer to stick, but often it is intermittent. We are happy to send out replacement tops to those who need them - we want everyone to be happy. Any other kind of saline bottle can easily have sterility compromised soon after opening because ambient air can get in and microbes with it. Pressurized cans are the only type of saline I trust. By the way, I'm a chemist with 40 years experience and who has owned an analytical laboratory for 21 years.
