Usually, "Carton glued shut for your protection; inner bottle shrink wrapped with [Brand Name] logo plastic. Do not use product if any protective wrap missing." I have not seen that language on this product packaging. There Oughta Be A Law! Every OTC drugstore product should describe protective packaging ON THE CARTON. Because you KNOW store clerks restocking returns are saying, "Its still good...!" And back on the shelf it goes! Really ALL drugstore returns should go back to the vendor to determine if it can be sold again.

Answer:	If you try Flnase, make sure someone is there with you at the time. I've used Afrin for years (same ingredient at Sinex), and tried Flonase which works great for my grandchildren. It immediately caused my nasal passages to swell completely shut and I began having trouble breathing even through my mouth. Took me about 8 times of spraying with Afrin before it cleared up. Afrin is "addicting" in that studies show it causes a rebound effect that may make the sinus mucosa swell more. However, if you hear that it causes increase in blood pressure, studies have shown that it does not. (I don't know about Flonase for either of these possible effects, though.)

Answer:	This is sterile water with salt, a saline solution. It's expiration date is the same as a bottle of water: until it's opened, you have approximately 2 years from purchase due to the permeability of the plastic. After that minute particles from the air will have penetrated and you will now have dusty saline solution. However, once you've opened it, contaminated it with boogers, I would throw it away around 6 months.

Answer:	According the manufacturer's website, the claim is that their patented formulation provides the no drip, so I don't believe there is an additive that makes it true but rather the overall formulation. Afrin does seem to be a thicker, stickier substance. Overall, I find Afrin more effective than any other brand so it's been a few years since I have tried others, but I would say the others I have tried have been a less thick and more watery substance. I had not had problems with drip using them though either.

Answer:	I use it for nasal stuffiness. it probably would help with sinus pressure. Worth a try!
