Answer:	The handle is hollow. Another reason why mine split in two pieces. The cover screws on and works good. I actually glued it back together and I'm using it again.

Answer:	It does not say what kind of plastic and does not have a plastic recycle symbol. Rest assured that it is definitely breakable, as my wife dropped it on the floor and it cracked. Go with the Yeti pot. It works just as well and has a much more impact resistant type of plastic.

Answer:	Fill it up, put in one of the packages, tilt your head sideways over the sink and stick it in the nostril that's on the top side and then switch to the other (assuming you have two nostrils). When the pot is empty, blow your nose to get out any water that still lingering in you sinuses. The real trick is make sure your head is really tilted sideways. The more sideways the better. I found that having my mouth open helps the flow...don't know why but it does. Be ready for a really weird feeling (Kind of like when you get water in your nose when you go swimming) but just go with it ...you'll be surprised how much better you feel moments after you're done.

Answer:	I would not recommend putting this pot in a microwave. The manufacturer or distributor has described its glaze as a "food-grade sealant" with no further explanation, but it has been flagged by a California Proposition 65 warning for a reason and the consumer has a right to know why there is such a warning on a product that is meant to promote health. One can only wonder if the glaze is unsafe. When I use this pot, I boil Smart Water in a pan on the stove and let it cool before adding salt. I recently let the water cool too long and made the mistake of putting the pot in the microwave for ten seconds. This resulted in burning sinuses and an acrid odor or taste that was not organic. Without more information on the chemical constituents of the glaze on a product manufactured in China that is being used to clean sinuses, I would not purchase this product again and urge those who sell it to investigate the reason it was flagged and make it public.

Answer:	Yes the direction say only use distilled or sterile water ( you can boil it yourself ) I do have my own well and a filter system so I feel confident with using my tap water with no problems. I believe that city treated water may irritate the nasal cavity or dry it out causing easier nose bleeds. I also think that some people might use unsanitary or unclean water if not told otherwise. So its probably also a smart legal thing ( and safe thing ) to say. There are some crazy people out there that might use stream or rain water. Ive seen crazier things LOL.

Question:	Doesn’t this burn like when you get water up your nose while seimming
Answer:	It did for me the first time because I didn't follow the directions lol. They key is to not blow through your nose as you are rinsing. Just let the water flow and breathe out through your mouth. If you try to inhale or exhale through your nose as you are rinsing you may feel a burning sensation for a few seconds. Key is just letting it flow.

The sinus rinse bottle is perfect for kids who are above twelve years of age. Otherwise, you should consult your child's physician before use. Please do not rinse with plain water which will result in a severe burning sensation. If you have had ear surgery, please contact your physician prior to irrigation. Do not use hot or boiling water.

How To Use

Step 1: Wash your hands before start. Fill the nasal irrigation up to the fill line with lukewarm distilled water or previously boiled water.

Step 2: Add a packet of nasal wash salt pour into the water. Tighten the cap & tube on the travel neti pot. Shake the nose cleaner gently to dissolve the mixture.

Step 3: Standing in front of a sink, bend forward to your comfort level and tilt your head down. Keep your mouth open and do not hold breath. place cap snugly against your right nostril and press the button on the bottom until the solution starts draining from the other nostril or mouth.

Step 4: Repeat steps 3 for your left nostril.

Answer:	Very little water. Your Neti Pot will have a measurement on it.

Answer:	The chances of tap water being not clean enough is strictly depending on where you live. As I live in california, the water is relatively clean and is like 99.9% likely to be clean and fine to use straight from the tap with a nedi pot. However, with what we know about using tap water and it having the slight possibility of danger, it is recommended that you boil your tap water to kill contagions, then let it cool to suitable temperature. With that said you can also use bottled water, and water from a purifier, however it's still recommended to boil it. Imagine going to the lake or river or even an ocean and how many times we've gotten water in our nose and we're not infested with brain parasites. That's essentially the argument, but still highly recommended to give the least amount of chances as possible.
