Answer:	No, Hitachi makes the HV-250R. Vibratex produces the HV-260. The notable differences are: the "original" 250R is a 20-watt device versus the 260's 10-watts, the 250R says "Magic Wand Hitachi" near the speed selector (the 260 says "Magic Wand Original"), the speeds on the 250-R are labelled "H" and "L" (260 says "I" and "II") and the package on the 250-R says "Hitachi Magic Wand" (260 says "Magic Wand Original"). It's widely believed that Vibratex is/was Hitachi's American distributor and Hitachi no longer makes the 250R due to not wanting their name associated with ad adult toy. So Vibratex makes the 260 as the 250R's successor. There was a story I read online in my research but I am unable to locate it again to link it here.

Answer:	Is this something your wife asked for? It’s not a sex toy and is used therapeutically, rather than for pleasure. It was recommended to me by my pelvic floor physical therapist. There are online videos associated with the instructions, though if your wife is working with a medical professional, they should give guidance about its use for her specific needs.
