Answer:	Not knowing the color of your chair, the Americare pad I bought came only in brown and fits my mother's lift chair. It does scoot a bit, but not much. However, checking Amazon's other waterproof chair pads, there are some that are smaller (17x22 inc.) in various colors that might be more suitable for your child's chair. I had four children and didn't use any pads because they were taken to the potty often until they were used to staying dry, then accidents happened rarely once they preferred dry panties. Answer:	It should work fine--not much different than using the pad in a chair except for perhaps a slight angle of the car seat. I would suggest, if your car seats are leather or vinyl, to put a non-slip rubber mat under the waterproof pad to prevent the pad from slipping. It may not be necessary, but it's a thought if slippage of the pad is an issue. Hope this helps.

Answer:	This pad is a really strange color--kind of urine colored--very yellow! What I received was more yellow than tan or camel. Definitely not what I would call almond, unless you are thinking of the shell of an unshelled almond. I can't really think of what color furniture you could use this on without it looking really obvious. They would be OK if you were putting a throw or pet blanket over it. I will either send them back or donate them somewhere, and try something else.

Answer:	I feel that incontinence pads have the advantage for postpartum use because they'll handle much more than menstrual or postpartum pads. Postpartum pads are mostly pads designed for a menstrual-like flow but heavier; incontinence pads are designed to hold much more fluid and handles "gushes" really well.

Answer:	Even looking at the package, I can find nothing stating what material is used but I can say, I have very sensitive skin and have had no adverse reaction to them. I have also found them to be more absorbent than others I have tried.

Answer:	I've had that happen when my mom was in the hospital. They said to guard against break down of her skin. They also changed her promptly.

Answer:	Printed side is outside, the plain white side is under the patient. Also, note that the outside has top and bottom arrows - head of the bed and foot of the bed is written on the pad. I always follow this instruction because I figure if they have printed it on the pad then it has purpose. These are by far the most superior disposable pads available.
Question:	what is the rated absorbency of this pad
Answer:	Not sure of the rating, but it does keep the urine confined to the area. In some pads, a little urine will spread all over the pad, but that does not happen with these. My son, an RN, suggested I get these as they are used at the VA hospitals and they are well worth the cost.

Answer:	2 1/2 inches (excluding backing). With the edges of the backing included, they're about 2 3/4 inches wide.

Answer:	The old version of these pads were unavailable for a time before the new version came out. The newer version is crimped around the edges, and feels like very fine sandpaper - not so bad on the fingers, but makes sensitive skin red, raw, and VERY uncomfortable when you wear them. The adhesive on the new version so much stronger than the old pads - it tears the fabric you try to pull it off of after using them for a very short time.

Question:	So you put this in the washing machine with the "up to five cups" of fluid in it
Answer:	I wash with whites using hot water option and Tide with bleach (granules). This solves odor issues for me as well as providing cleaning. I do not know how much fluid the mattress pad contained when I washed in the past however.

I feel no difference between the area covered by the Priva Ultra Plus waterproof sheet protector. We sleep on a Tempurpedic mattress and it is that which we protect. Sheets can be washed but the mattress doesn't fit in the dryer :o)

Answer:	Definitely! I switched from using the disposable puppy pads to using these pads for my three small dogs. They work wonderfully! I just throw them in the washing machine with some bleach and hot water to wash and they come out beautifully. I save money on not having to buy disposable puppy pads, and I'm not creating more trash for the landfill. My suggestion for switching from disposable puppy pads to these pads is to put a puppy pad next to this pad on the floor and gradually transition your dog to the new pads. My 15 yr old pug had a bit of a challenge at first, thinking she was trying to "go" on something she should not. She was looking for the puppy pads, but it did not take very long for her to realize that these pads were the "new thing" for her to use.
