Answer:	Legs are not adjustable. Just look for a reasonably flat section of ground when you pitch your tent and you'll be fine. My husband and I slept on these in just sleeping bags and were fine. Haven't tried any foam mattress on top of it-- not necessary for comfort, they're good on their own, but a piece of foam would probably make the cots quieter to sleep on. Every time you shift around in your sleep the cot fabric kinda squeaks.

Answer:	Don't know but I return my purchase after it broke during a camping trip, first use. If you toss or turn while sleeping it will collapse and break! If the ground is not level it will collapse and break! Spend the extra money on some thing better.

Answer:	These are more water resistant than water proof ( like a rubber wader) . They become much less water resistant with time . A treatment with a thick rub on type snow proofing product when you get them new will really help . Repeat as needed .

Answer:	No, these boots are no longer waterproof. Since 2016 they do not contain goretex. Mine started to leak in slushy snow after 3 weeks of use. These boots have been cheapened but the cost for them went up.

Answer:	Yes, they are perfect boots for shoveling snow. If you are in deep snow, get some gaiters and you have an awesome set of snow boots. Be sure to care for your boots by using a silicone rub such as kiwi minkoil. By the way, in the last 6 years I have been through 4 pairs of these awesome boots. I use them for my job (package delivery) and use them for outdoor activities like 5-15 mile hikes. Get some SOLE Ultra insoles and these puppies will keep your feet painfree especially if you are on you feet for 10-15 hours/day. The only bad part is that the tread wears out pretty fast. But that is probably my fault because I cover so many miles (~300 miles/pair) on them on the concrete, asphalt and mountain trails. I'll stop there, I love these boots and hope they never change them!!

Answer:	It will take a lot of walking to find a jungle in the Himalayas as the Himalayas are a mountain range, though tigers are found in the Bhutan over 13,000 feet. Yes these boots will hold up - mine are over 12 years old and only now is the rubber starting to perish. Been through bushveld hiking in hot and humid South Africa and below -29 Celsius in the Alps!

I want a wider size and according to the shoe size chart link, I wanted a 2E, not 4E Ultrawide, BUT Amazon Zappo's only stock the 'normal' Narrow and 4E Ultrawides. @WayneM, there is no 'half size larger' to select, apparently they don't pay attention to what people are buying and they don't bother to restock. I went ahead and ordered the D 'medium' which is actually very NARROW. The shoes came and they just fit me with the laces all the way stretched out. That said, I like them anyway - they're light and the sole is solid. The box only says size 10.5 and No width letter. And they don't show the width letter on the shoe's label either. Good shoe, not great sizing.So, Zappo's / Amazon has some work to do to avoid confusion and returns, just stock the medium wides, please. And start labeling the shoes better.

Answer:	I wouldn’t know what size the lace is and if it’s different for a size 14 VS a size 8 1/2, such as I have. I can tell you the laces are well constructed and of a roundish design and just long enough to tie a double knot in so they definitely won’t come untied while hiking.
Question:	I have moderate bunions, should I get size wide width
Answer:	I think they're the same. Merrill calls it simply "W" for wide, whereas Amazon uses 2E to denote "wide", probably trying to be consistent with the many other brands they carry. I notice that another retailer I've bought Merrell's from just calls them "wide", not E or EE or anything else. I'm quite sure Merrell has only one level of "wide".
Question:	How is the arch support in this shoes
Answer:	Got my ventilators from REI, I don’t think so but I haven’t tested them heavily. I thought the ventilators had the M-select waterproofing (not gortex) technology but they might not. At least I know they don’t have gore-Tex. I am fine with that, because waterproofing, especially gortex, contains toxic fluoropolymers similar to Teflon. I don’t want to chronically expose myself to that unless waterproofing is absolutely critical, besides, these shoes dry pretty quickly.

Answer:	YES！The length of my foot is 27.5cm, i chose 10.5, alought the shoe size is a littler bit large, but it prove the size chart is true. i think 10 is perfect fit to my foot's size.

Answer:	Timberland White Ledge boots are not insulated and so are not particularly warm in and of themselves. However, because they're mostly leather with few seams, they are very waterproof (many boots claim to be waterproof but are not--too many seams and non-leather parts) and keep your feet dry which helps keep them comfortable. You can buy insulated boots, but unless you're like my sister-in-law (her feet are always cold), they will be too warm in the summer. I much prefer to wear a non-insulated boot and then make them feel warmer/cooler by wearing wool socks in winter and cotton socks in summer. As long as your feet stay dry and you have good moisture-wicking wool socks, this sock method works for me in the winter. Make sure there's enough room in the boots for thicker wool socks--cramped feet will always feel cold.
Question:	Need women's size 10. What size should I buy
Answer:	Yes, it works on snow. It is the very first shot boot I ever have. And if you notice I use "IS" not "WAS", because I am still wearing it now, since 2004. It is 15 years already. I only use it in winter time and raining day when the weather condition will not be safe with regular sneakers. I use this boot as snow day shoes in each year, for 15 years now, and the shoe is still in very good condition. I am thinking to get a second pair in different color now. BUT, I will not give this boot a 5 -star rating due to the very poor design of the show lace. For no reason, this round shoe lace constantly got loose when I was walking. After many years' upset with the original round shoe lace, I replaced it with regular flat shoe lace and it works very well now. Therefore, I suggest you also get a regular flat shoe lace ready when the round lace is not properly holding up, so you can just replace it.

Answer:	i apologize for late response , the tongue or upper has a size tag. and it says its made in China .. ? they run small 1/2 to 1 size . ?
Question:	What's the D stand for
Answer:	In truth, I only wear these to work. I haven't been backpacking in years but I believe that I would get a shoe with more rugged treads on it. These shoes are comfortable for my environment but, perhaps, not with that one.
Question:	Are these better or as good as the green super feet
Answer:	They have good traction and are water resistant which make them good enough for general snow use. However, they are not insulated. If you are planning on spending a lot of time out in snowy and/or cold conditions, I would recommend a true winter hiker like the Hi-Tec Phoenix 200.
