Answer:	There is a band that sits directly above the ankle. If you have fat ankles with those calves that band can be excruciatingly tight. I have to return mine because of that band. I like you am a little wary to order larger, that band may still be too tight regardless of the foot size.

Answer:	No, there is no sizing chart. The womens 6-10 fits very well into my Size 10 shoes. Just be sure the product says W.

Answer:	They are about 2 1/4". They are soft and flexible so they should fit in any size shoe. I don't think they should be trimmed though. The problem I have is that they don't stay in place in most of my shoes. ( I wear an 8 1/2.) Maybe they will fit more snug in a smaller shoe.

Answer:	No, definitely not. I am not sure what type of steel they are made from but they do rust when used outdoors & in moist/damp situations.

Answer:	The box contains 10 strips of 100 staples. Each strip is loaded into the staple gun loading slot as needed. I may be wrong on how many strips are in the box (see answer from L. Kish below) but you do get 1000 staples total in separate strips to fit the slot in the stapler.
