It works for the vast majority of the burned stains. I have never used the Grate Cleaner so I cannot comment on it. I may buy it just to try it, too.

Answer:	Hello, This knife is a double beveled knife and not a single beveled knife. You are most likely referring to the microbevel from the traditional Koba sharpening on the blade. The Koba sharpening is a traditional Japanese hand-made sharpening method for our double-edged knives that enhances their sharpness but your knife is a double-beveled knife if you inspect it past the initial Koba Sharpened edge. The blade of this knife would be suited for both lefties and righties since the microbevel on top is so insignificant that it would not affect the actual 50/50 construct of the blade. Single-edged knives additionally have a concave back that would be very noticeable. Additionally if you would like to do a small test, you can confirm it is double-edged while you are cutting ingredients. If you try to cut ingredients straight down, it goes down with the same direction as you cut it. This happens with double-edged knives and will be the result if you try this cutting test. However, a single-edged knife will not cut straight down even if you try. The blade will cut down in an angle that sways left even if you try to cut straight down because the left side is at a large concave angle and right side blade are 1''~1.5'' long single bevel (for right handed single-edge knives). Please take a look at the linked diagrams for a simplified representation of a single-bevel vs a double-beveled knife.
