Answer:	It’s a whole lot that comes in a metal case and with batteries. It’s worth just getting the whole thing! The tweezers are really helpful to grab stuck pieces as well.

Question:	Why is this brand better than the other brands which are much cheaper seen on Amazon
Answer:	I've had the less expensive brands and the curette has a "slip" connection into the base. It slips out during wax removal. The Bionix screws down into the light source and is more sturdy.

Answer:	I am a doctor of audiology. I remove wax and objects from ears everyday. This is the only brand I will use. The lifht is truely fiber optic and light is not only very bright and white but actually delivered at the end of the currette as it should be. It’s more expensive because it works. Putting anything in someone else’s ear is dangerous- that’s why only medical professionals should. That being said I know people who don’t know what they are doing will do it anyway. I’d much rather that person use a light that they can actually see with instead of something dim where they are just guessing and could more easily hurt someone and/or go through an eardrum.
