Answer:	I own both. You can’t tell the difference after wearing them These are HALF the price compared to Eargasm.

Answer:	No, these are for listening to live music. The just make live concerts a little less loud. If you want something that blocks noise, these are not the type of earplugs you want.

Answer:	No they don't muffle sound. You can hear all of the notes and sounds very clearly, but the overall decibels are reduced. These are appropriate for musicians and fans of music. I attend quite a few multiple day festivals and I don't like having any reduction in my ability to hear because of loud concerts (though I love loud music). These allow me to be right up front and to go to concerts for several days in a row without having ringing in my hears afterwards. With musicians ear plugs, I can still hear all of the music clearly and it's plenty loud still, but my ears don't hurt afterwards. They are absolutely worth having. And they aren't like the cheap foam earplugs that are designed to protect hearing from loud industrial noises.

Answer:	These ear plugs have noise reduction level of 32 decibels. They appear to have the highest noise reduction rating available on the market. There is a change in perception of how it sounds because of how the human ear works, even if the drop in noise is not all that significant. Relatively speaking, a normal conversation, however, is around 60-65 decibels.
Question:	Does anyone use these for sleeping? I am wondering if they are comfortable with multi-hour use, sleeping on the side, do they stay in all night, etc
Answer:	Yes, I've worn them for sleeping for a few years now due to noisy neighbors. They are comfortable with multi-hour use; sometimes a new pair can seem a bit large when first worn (hurting my ear a bit, but I have small ears). If this happens, I just pull them out a bit and all is well. And they do stay in all night if you insert them according to the directions on the package (pull ear up and back, roll the plug tightly and insert). I don't know what I'd do without these, they are a lifesaver as far as my sleep!
Question:	The jar says 50 pair but description says 50 count. Which is it
Answer:	50 pair ='s 100 individual units. To properly block sound, the average person needs two, a pair of earplugs, one for each ear, to be effective and block the sound. Always sold in pairs, like a pair of shoes, a pair of glasses (2 lenses, one frame), a pair of pants (2 legs, but one complete unit. I counted; my container had 51.5 pair (103 pieces).

Question:	Are these good to block out snoring noises and still comfortable to sleep on for side sleepers
Answer:	Yes. These earplugs have the same exact stem as the Etymotic ER20 plugs (the rubber part is probably "Large fit"). You can buy the cord for the other plugs, but unfortunately it costs nearly as much as the plugs themselves. If you really want a cord, buy the ER20's and now you have a cord and a spare pair of plugs and case.
Question:	Does it have a mic? Or is just for hearing, not calling
Answer:	It really depends on the headphones you're using. If they don't have a cup depth (space between your outer ear and the innermost part of the headphone) of at least 1/2 inch, you may feel the earplugs rubbing against the headphone. Another consideration is how large the tone holes in your headphones are. Theoretically one of the stems could go through the hole and perforate the transducer. I tried these with my old (80's era) Pro/450 Koss headphones and there was some friction.
Question:	Are they effective for shooting sports
Answer:	Not for me. I don't like the foam plugs either, but this type of ear plug uses soft rubber seals that are far more comfortable. More effective quieting, too, because they fit better & create a better seal.
Question:	How does the comfort and sound quality compare to "Eargasm" style earplugs
Answer:	It's still difficult to tell. I usually sound check without them in, then put them in. As with any earplugs it's not going to sound the same, but I've found any "tree design" earplugs, like these are WAY better than foam earplugs.

Answer:	No, it's just to be able to take them out, as they fit deep in your ears. It makes them look nearly invisible once they're in.
Question:	How do I know if these fit? I feel like I have to work them in, and they don't go all the way in so they're flush with the end of my ear canal
Answer:	**** HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE ACHIEVED AN APPROPRIATE SEAL??*** You will need to insert both EARasers earplugs (Red is Right, Blue is Left - color side indicator stripes facing you, then bring straight back so line ultimately ends up facing towards the back of your head.) Drop your jaw, and gently pull either up or down on your actual ear with one hand, while gently inserting your EARasers earplugs with the other hand. The string with the ball is simply to help you remove it from your ear, so pressing on it won't hurt it. Dropping your jaw will help to straighten your ear canal to achieve a better seal. You will know you have an appropriate seal when YOU begin to speak. While everything else will sound normal with EARasers inserted, your own voice, when speaking, should result in "a head voice" or "an occlusion when you speak". Similar to you putting your fingers in your ears and speaking. If you don't find that "head voice" when you speak, repeat the above steps to see if you can find that. First, make sure you have Red in Right and Blue in Left and that the lines are positioned properly. (Often we see people rotate their hand while inserting and end up putting their earplug in Backwards. - Be certain you've not done this.) EARasers should never hurt your ear canal, or be uncomfortable, however they do need to be able to seal your ear canal. If you are certain that you've inserted both properly, and still have not achieved an appropriate seal so that your own speaking voice sounds muffled. (Remember everything else will sound normal - almost like there is only a slight volume different.) If you are unable to achieve your "head voice when speaking", then you many need to swap sizes.
