Answer:	I have purchase Nike, New Balance(other models), Avia, and a orthopedic brand tennis shoe for $125, so have invested and reviewed different shoes. Also, due to a torn ankle ligament and tendons I was prescribed with orthothics which is expensive and did not fit in a women's shoe so had to buy a man shoe which did not work out so well. With this New Balance shoe it's design to allow easy placement/room of orthotic without having to order a bigger size or a man's shoe. I highly recommend the shoe. I so wish New Balance would have a variety of colors to pick from....gray is not by first choice, but I overlooked color vs. comfort. I cannot completely answer your question if this is the best arch support tennis shoe, but for me it is with the condition I have. No more pain!!!
