The "gold" one is plated....so I would not wear it every day....especially if you tend to always run into things or scrape it on the desk, wall, etc, the outer parts of the watch that take abuse will fade along the band. I recommend it for special occasions or get a leather band. Look at your current watch and see where you have dings, scrapes, scratches. Etc....

Answer:	As far as I could tell after going to the site selling the Bayer Contour Meter for .01, it only comes with the meter, case and instructions. Others sell up to complete kits that come with these plus a lancer and ten lancets, but not for 0.01. The only difference between #7151G and #7151B is a green or blue colored meter.
Question:	No one can tell me if you can print a report with this contour-next bayer blood glucose meter
Answer:	A lancet is what is used to prick the finger in order to get a simple drop of blood to put on the glucose strip to get your glucose reading. It is really very easy and does not hurt. All it is is a tiny needle like object that is inserted into the penlike device. It is very simple to use.

Answer:	No that number is not listed on mine. I have several numbers on mine but not that one. I use both of my meters. The meter is light blue and they both work the same. If the meter is gray it's the bayer counter next ez meter that uses other strips. As long as you buy the same light blue one it works with the same strips for the Bayer Contour Meter. 7151H is my number under the name Bayer Contour on both meters. I got one from Amazon and one from the pharmacy. 9545c seems familiar as it could been on my little bayer contour book.

Insert Lancet

Unscrew the lancing device cap. Insert lancet in to the lancing device. Twist and pull to remove the protective lancet cap to expose the sterile needle. Save the cap for later use. Screw the lancing device cap back on. Select the skin penetration depth preferred. Pull the barrel back until you hear a'click' sound.

Insert Test Strip

Insert the test strip, top side facing up into the test port. The meter will be automatically turned on. A Beep will sound, you can press or to select the meal indicator for marking the test as Pre-meal test , post-meal test , no marker , as default.A blood sample can now be obtained.

Draw Blood

Place the lancing device softly against the finger,palm or forearm. Press the trigger to obtain a blood sample.

Apply Blood

Introduce the tip of the test strip to the drop of blood. Blood sample will be automatically drawn into the test strip. After obtaining a blood sample,discard the first drop to prevent contamination.Hold the tip of the test strip touching the blood drop until the meter beeps.

Answer:	If you check your test strip bottle it should show what the range should be for both the level 1 and the level 2 EX. my bottle of Countour Next strips says level 1: 37-46mg/dl and level 2: 109-135 mg/dl rigt below the experiation date

Answer:	The control solution is used to make sure that the test strips have not gone bad. Make sure that the control solution has not expired. The steps are as follows: 1) insert a new test strip in the meter, 2) shake the control solution, 3) put one drop of control solution on the test strip, 4) check the number on the meter to the numbers on the control solution bottle, 5) make sure that the number on the meter is between the numbers on the bottle.
