Question:	What is the expiration date? About how long is it good for after you get it? Thanks
Answer:	I had both of my boxes delivered to my kids and grandkids, so I didn't see the expiration date on those boxes. But I've used oscillo for about 21 years, and the expiration date is usually about 3 years from manufacture date.
Question:	Can I go ahead and give my children the medicine to prevent getting the flu? How long will the medicine last as prevention for the flu
Answer:	First, I have been using homeopathy for myself and my family for the last 30 years. I have even used it to treat the polio flu virus (as my daughter cannot have vaccinations as she is severely allergic to egg whites). I currently have pulmonary fibrosis caused by inhalation of a toxic chemical from a product installed in my home 15 years ago. If I get a respiratory flu, I will need to be hospitalized. At 71, the risk is even greater than it was at the time of the initial exposure. I cannot get a flu shot (as I cannot risk even this supposedly inocuous exposure to the flu. Therefore, for the past 15 years, I have taken a single dose weekly each flu season (Nov. - March). I have not gotten the flu even when I have been exposed to it! My husband, now age 74, does not take this remedy weekly and has, gotten the 'initial' warnings of the flu. When he does, I then give him 3 doses....12 hours apart. If he takes it at the beginning of the symptoms, 12 hours later and then again 12 hours later, by the next day he feels fine. When my children were in high school, I gave them 3 doses (in the same manner) if they were exposed to someone with the flu. If they got symptoms, they recovered quickly. HOWEVER!!! If one waits until the flu symptoms have taken hold, this remedy will not give the same results. Although, taken as directed, it may lessen the symptoms or shorted the duration. I would not count on that for myself. Washington Homeopathics does have a remedy (INFLUENZIUM 12C) for the flu. I have some of this in case my husband does not catch the initial symptoms. So far, we have never had to use it.
Question:	Does it help cold symptoms
Answer:	Absolutely it helps. I've been using this for years now, and unless I mess up by not taking it soon enough (times which have been far and few between), I don't get a cold or the flu.Often you don't know, at the start, if that scratchy throat or runny nose is a cold or the beginning of the flu. The key to taking this remedy is to take it at the VERY FIRST sign of a cold or flu. I've found the faster you take it, the faster and better it works. I take it as soon as I have any hint of a symptom. It knocks the symptoms out cold when I do this, and I don't get a cold or flu. 8 years ago I ignored my symptoms for a well over 24 hours and became sicker than a dog. The flu hit fast and furious, and I was sick for 3 months with complications, and ended up in the hospital with massive blood clots to both sides of my lungs. Needless to say, this is something I have not wanted to repeat. Since then, I have been taking this every time I start to feel any cold or flu symptoms coming on. The very few times I have delayed (either it didn't register or I was so involved with something I kept putting off getting the oscillicoccinum to take), are the times the symptoms continued to develop and get a foothold. But taking it even then has helped to shorten the length of time with symptoms dramatically and prevented them from becoming severe.Besides those less than a handful of times I delayed in taking this remedy and had to deal with symptoms for a short bit, I have not had a cold or the flu since I was in the hospital 8 years ago.The key is to not delay at all. Even if I'm not sure it's anything, or if I think it's a cold, I take a dose or two and I don't get sick. Rarely do I need more than that. Some people even take it preventively, like once a week or so during flu season. This is one remedy I will not be without.

Answer:	I would not know the answer to that. We have given this to our son, but he was 8+ years old. I would contact the mfg. and see what the dosage would be for a small child to be safe. Just because it is homeopathic does not make it safe for all.

The Centesimal scale (the C scale) is diluted at the rate of 1 part of the previous solution to 99 parts of solvent. A different vial is used for each dilution step. We recommend the C scale for self-care, and we offer 6C and 30C dilutions in most retail locations. The C scale extends from 6C to 30C, where 6C is a low dilution and 30C is a high dilution. The Centesimal Korsakovian scale (the CK scale) is also diluted at the rate of 1 part of the previous dilution to 99 parts solvent, using the same vial for each step. Question:	Has this helped anyone or their pet with arthritis
Answer:	I have never used it for arthritis. It has worked well for abscesses in cats and dogs, and for ingrown feather follicles in small birds. Homeopathic remedies are very specific to symptoms so different types of arthritis will require different remedies. I've used a non-homeopathic herbal remedy for arthritis and other joint injuries-Devil's claw root. I am not sure yet if it is safe for pets but works great for humans. My dog had acupuncture and acupressure treatment that alleviated her arthritis of the hip. Amazon has several great alternative health books for pets that include the info for that. Diane Stein Natural Health for dogs and cats, Dr Pitcairn's Natural Health for dogs and cats (the first title isn't exactly the same as the second I just can't find my copy right now). Answer:	30c and 200c are different dosages--dilutions. If you are practicing this on your own, you need to get a basic homeopathy book to know what you are doing. I go to a homeopath. Also, you need to take remedies at least 20 minutes after you've consumed ANYTHING or even brushed you teeth. And you should not take in anything until at least 20 minutes after using a remedy. Usually one pellet is a dose--and you put it under your tongue to dissolve. You should not be on more than 1 remedy at a time. Without following homeopathic protocols, you cannot expect intended results.

Question:	What's the difference between the 30C and the 200CK
Answer:	Okay, it is a bit confusing. The different numbers refer to the number of times the original ingredients have been diluted, so 30c has been diluted many less times than the 200. However, for some reason in homeopathic medicine, they refer to the most diluted formulas as high potency and the least diluted as low potency. So the lower numbers actually have more of the ingredients in it.
Question:	How to you get the product out of container
Answer:	The bottom of the container (has ridges molded) is twistable. You twist this round end, holding that end downside. The pellets are dispensed into the end piece, which is removable (there may be a piece of tape holding it shut which you can remove). Keep twisting until you see about 4-5 pellets in the end piece. Then carefully remove the end piece and put the pellets into your mouth to dissolve (do not chew them). Refrain from touching the pellets as you take them and avoid having any mint-flavored candies or food prior to taking them - somehow the mint diminishes the effectiveness of the arnica. Answer:	The 6/12/30C has more to do with the intensity of the illness than age. The goal of homeopathy is to use the minimalist dose that will work, so it's recommended to start with a 6C, particularly if it's the patient's first exposure. If it's an acute illness, try the 12C or even 6C first. The 30C is better for chronic or more serious symptoms. If this is a chronic illness, 200C might be a better option, but that's usually reserved for something far more serious and/or chronic.
