Question:	Is it an extract of bovine adrenal glands
Answer:	The answer from Baloo is wrong. Cortex simply means the outer layer of something, the word comes from that latin for bark (like on a tree). For example the outer layer of the brain is called the cerebral cortex. The outer layer of the adrenal gland is still the adrenal gland. The adrenal cortex produces many hormones including glucodcorticoids, mineralocorticoids and androgens. That is the very definition of a gland, to say it's not a gland is so very wrong. It's a shame there is no way to remove misinformation like this from Amazon.
