Answer:	I have found using distilled water helps to keep it cleaner running better.
Question:	Will it need to be plugged in ac outlet or rechargeable batteries ? Thank you
Answer:	Yes. I do not use essential oils as some are toxic to pets.
Question:	Is it normal for the oil to get mixed with the water
Answer:	It’s normal for pure essential oils to break down plastic. (They need to be in metal or glass.) I used to make skin care products using essential oils. They came to us in heavy metal cans or glass. If in their concentrated form, they were left in plastic containers, the containers would bend and warp. (We had an employee who unintentionally demonstrated this fact for us.) I’m not sure of the technicality of it but I just know - It doesn’t matter what the scent is, don’t put essential oils in plastic! :)
Question:	Can all the lights be turned off
Answer:	Yes you can turn off the color array of lights on the main body, however the "on" lights remain illuminated even with the color display off. There is a red light for constant mist and a green light for intermittent mist. It is quite bright in a dark room (think on your bedside table). It is not just a small illuminated dot but rather a bright dot with corresponding color glow at the bottom. Quite a lot of light next to your bed when trying to sleep. :-( So far, wrapping a dark ribbon around the base at night helps but not an ideal solution. Otherwise I love this diffuser.

Answer:	Yes. The left side of the button controls the light. Click once to turn on, and it will rotate colors continuously. Click again and it will stop on the color you are on. Click and hold, and it will turn the light off.

Answer:	Very interesting question. The diffuser disperses mist into the air, not carbon dioxide (CO2). It shouldn't set off a dorm smoke detector.

Answer:	Wish I'd seen this question prior to my purchase but yeah. the unit is NOT PORTABLE like the description says. Even the instructions inside the box call the power cable a "charging cable", which it is NOT. The device has no internal battery and MUST be plugged in to an outlet to run.

Answer:	Yes. I do not use essential oils as some are toxic to pets.
Question:	I've heard essential oils with citrus in them will break down some diffusers plastic. Will citrus breat this one down
Answer:	It’s normal for pure essential oils to break down plastic. (They need to be in metal or glass.) I used to make skin care products using essential oils. They came to us in heavy metal cans or glass. If in their concentrated form, they were left in plastic containers, the containers would bend and warp. (We had an employee who unintentionally demonstrated this fact for us.) I’m not sure of the technicality of it but I just know - It doesn’t matter what the scent is, don’t put essential oils in plastic! :)
Question:	Can you use the diffuser without having the lights on
Answer:	Yes you can turn off the color array of lights on the main body, however the "on" lights remain illuminated even with the color display off. There is a red light for constant mist and a green light for intermittent mist. It is quite bright in a dark room (think on your bedside table). It is not just a small illuminated dot but rather a bright dot with corresponding color glow at the bottom. Quite a lot of light next to your bed when trying to sleep. :-( So far, wrapping a dark ribbon around the base at night helps but not an ideal solution. Otherwise I love this diffuser.
