Answer:	No it's plastic. I don't know about the other colors but I'm assuming they're the same.
Question:	Is this truly only a spray every 8hrs? Makes no sense
Answer:	There's no single answer to this question. If the space is dry in general, the moisture will be absorbed more rapidly on either setting and the unit will empty and shut off sooner irrespective of room size. The amount of heat being radiated into a room as well as the humidity outside are probably the biggest factors. I own two units that are currently used in room between 150 and 220 sq. ft. and have tested it successfully in a 340 sq. ft. room; I'll be purchasing another one for that space.

Answer:	It has a low and high setting. The low setting will last about 12 hours. The high setting lasts about 9 hours. The unit has four timer settings in the following minute increments: 60, 90, 120 and auto which runs until the unit senses it is out of water. I have ran this daily in my house, and it works for the whole house.
