Answer:	These weights work with the standard 1 inch bars, not the 2 inch olympic bars. The outside diameter is right at 8 inches, and they are 3/4 inches thick. Hope this helps.

Answer:	When I purchased the 1.25lb plate, I selected "2" as the quantity based on the other answers; I wanted a pair (naturally). I received a total of four plates / two pair. I am not sure if there was a mistake made when pulling the product or not, but based on my outcome, a quantity of "1" appears to mean one pair.
