Answer:	Yes to both of those uses. However, it's a bit expensive to use for frying. I use it to season cast iron. It does a great job, creates a hard, slippery surface that holds up well. It does require multiple coats to really make a non-stick surface. I bake pans, etc. at 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Answer:	Bear in mind that pretty much any gelcaps or otherwise lipid 'pills' don't even come close to the typical serving size of the actual oil product. So, you'd have to take roughly 12+ capsules per day to come close to equating the amounts of Alpha-Lenolenic, Alpha-Lenoleic, and Oleic acids (Omege -3, -6, and -9) you'd get in a tablespoon of the flaxseed oil in this instance. I can understand that a lot of folks can't deal with taking a tablespoon of oil twice a day and believe that they're getting the same dose in a lipid capsule, but that just isn't true. Just take a tablespoon of the oil and chase it with juice or better yet, just blend it into a smoothie or something. As long as it isn't heated (i.e. cooked), you're fine. I think the caps are a waste of money, unless you're willing to take 12+ caps at a time or daily... twice a day. Oh, the oil has a much higher bioavailability rate than a capsule, so there's another reason to just go with the oil :)

Answer:	Based on the chemical structure of the active ingredient in moth balls, napthelene, your best bet would be to use other bicyclic sesquiterpenes such as Juniper and Cedar oils. Cedar would likely be more effective than Lavender which lacks the aromatic functional group as a monocyclic chemical structure. Lavender is at most 5% active as a sesquiterpene versus 10% for Juniper berry and 32% in cedar (Texas over Virginia)

The ants where I live (SoCal) have become more invasive each summer. This spray can be used to interfere with their trails, stop them coming in at certain points. I sprayed it on myself just now because ants are coming up on my sofa to get at me. (I made the mistake of leaving some crumbs from a snack.) As soon as hot weather is over, the ants will leave us alone. We NEVER use pesticides.--------Don't use *too much* peppermint oil, when spraying yourself. Answer:	Usually 2-3 you can use 4 if you really like the smell but 2 is often plenty if you're using a real essential oil. Fakes often require more than that to get the desired amount of scent.
