Answer:	I bought the 4 cup set from this manufacturer and their are only pros, no cons. They are soft, easy to grip and do a much better job than the heated glass globes that we used previously. I can do cupping on myself whereas the heated glass globes were nearly impossible without doing ridiculous contortions. It's nice to be able to control the amount of suction you want for various areas, because different IS better! I don't think you would be disappointed with this set. I'm certainly not :)

Suction Cupping principals.

Suction Cups produce vacuums on the body's surface by manually withdrawing the air through the suction gun, rather than the traditional way of burning up oxygen. If you think of massage in terms of positive pressure (pressing in on body tissues), then you can think of Massage Suction Cupping as a negative pressure, drawing body tissues outward from the body, to stimulate them with a reverse massage. The skin is pressed up against the magnetic "needles" or points, when they are used.

Massage Suction Cupping is a modernized form of Cupping therapy. It adopts a suction gun to produce a negative air pressure vacuum inside cups which have been placed on the skin. The suction works to release rigid soft tissues and muscles. The skin may redden after the cup is left in place for a few minutes. The purpose of using cups in this way is to apply pressure for relaxation of muscles and overall promotion of well-being.

Optional magnetic therapy.

How to use.

1. Before use gently lift the cups piston to ensure a smooth airflow.
2. Insert the small end of tube connector into the green rubber adapter connected to the pump.
3. Insert the big end of connector tube into green rubber adapter and put it onto a cup body.
4. After installation , pull a trigger of the vacuum gun and check the air flow.
5. place the cup on a spot where treatment is needed , and pull the pump 2-3 times to reach the appropriate negative pressure.
6. After the body surface was pulled inside the cup, gently turn the cup left and right , then press cup piston down to prevent air leakage.
7. After the treatment cup can be removed by lifting a piston.

Answer:	In my opinion, while the cupping sets have many applications, the pelvic floor muscles are too deep to be accessed by the tools. You can utilize the technique on the lower abdominals and the gluteals. That being said, cupping of the lower abdominals may have a secondary or indirect effect of fascial release and increased blood flow on the pelvic floor muscles. If this is personal use - not a therapist/patient situation the cups work great in the bath or shower with soap & water. Get wet, soap up, cup till you have to wet again.

Afterwards, I wipe with 91% isopropyl alcohol with a clean paper towel; wash it with regular dish soap, rinse thoroughly with tap water, and rewipe it again with isopropyl alcohol. It's ready to use again!

This kit contains everything you need for a complete cupping therapy experience. The suction pump quickly and easily attaches to the cups to create a vacuum. The pulling action from the suction promotes healing, and is often done on larger areas of the body, such as the back. Cups come in several sizes, so arms, legs, and smaller areas can also be cupped.
