So my kids talked me into buying these to try to get my dog to stop barking. No, not to shoot the dog - to shoot at the front door when the dog takes off for the door with her crazy bark 24/7. It was a last ditch effort to control her incessant barking. I bought the Nerf gun and then got these as refill darts. These look like the Nerf darts...but the tip is much harder than the brand name darts. Not rock hard, but hard enough. I won't use these to shoot at the front door because I'm afraid they would hurt if they accidentally hit a person or the dog. Spend a couple extra bucks and get the Nerf brand. You'll be glad you did.
Oh - and about the dog. No, shooting the front door didn't help. (Ok, so I only tried it a few times.) Training hasn't worked. A vibrating collar hasn't worked. Treats haven't worked. Citronella collar didn't work. Putting her in her crate doesn't work. Neither does a squirt bottle, clapping, shaking a can with pennies in it, firmly calling her name, or picking her up at the front door to remove her from the situation.
Bottom line: The orange tips on these darts are too hard for kids. The Nerf brand is very soft and will bounce off - these are much harder and could be dangerous. The Nerf darts hit the front door with a soft "plink" and fall to the floor. These hit the front door with a much more audible "thud" and bounce off.

| Answer: | It's etched. The glasses are really nice, but 2 of the 3 I purchased are no more. Son in law poured cold whiskey in his and glass cracked completely around the glass. Mine, cracks have formed from the bullet location. Not sure if the bullet gets colder than the glass, but mine's now occupying shelf space out of service. The 3rd glass given to a friend has never been used.I wrote the company twice about the issue and still haven't heard back. |

| Answer: | Well, my grandson is 8 and he's got every Nerf gun on the Nerf market once he gets his Christmas present with the last 2 guns he doesn't have. I would say the smaller guns and NO guns that have rapid fire. However I would advise you to look on the package for the age they recommend for what gun. I also would advise you to get the Nerf mask for anyone he is playing with because it is rather unsafe to have him playing with anyone who doesn't have one on as they can get shot in the eye. My grandson" 8 " and I "67" have Nerf gun battles and I thought I would be alright without one and accidentally got shot in the eye and it's not fun! So teach him safety for sure. Now we BOTH wear one because we get pretty wild but have a blast! No pun intended. HAVE FUN!! |

| Answer: | We bought this for our 5 and 8 year olds. As is possible when having a nerf gun war - there were a few darts to the face. The darts hurt!! As compared to nerf darts - nerf darts have a soft tip and little valentines has a hard plastic tip. Hope this helps! |

| Answer: | They work fine on my stryfe, but they don't really work on my modulus. The darts seem a little firmer , and the flywheel bogs way down when you don't let the motors rev all of the way up after each shot. |
