Answer:	Unfortunately, I can't really answer that easily. Since it is natural jerky, there is a lot of variation to the sizes and shapes of the pieces. There were many pieces in the 1 pound bag I bought, but some individual pieces might be as large as 4-6 other pieces combined. For an event where you want everyone to get approximately equal amounts, you may want a different product. I believe this company also sells beef sticks that may be more predictable, but I have not purchased them yet.

Answer:	Moldy upon opening for me. Hard Times jerky is the best I’ve found for TRUE, old-style jerky.
Question:	does this have monosodium glutemate in it as part of the natural spices
Answer:	There is NO monosodium glutemate (MSG) in this ingredient list. Under USDA guidelines, MSG would have be labelled outside of natural spices. The natural spices in this recipe include things like garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, etc.

Answer:	Salt for dogs is bad, but like humans, iodine is an essential mineral in an animal's diet. Iodine regulates the thyroid and helps prevent issues with the lungs and heart. Do not confuse iodine with salt as all salt does not contain iodine and all iodine isn't salt (you can find iodine in blueberries, carrots, and fish).

Answer:	No this is not the healthiest of fats. Healthy fats are from grass-fed butter avocados and watch the like. This is more of a saturated fat because it has been processed. I guess that's the reason why there's less protein if it contains more fat. There are 5 grams of protein in 5 grams! I don't know why they use more salt than other brands maybe they try to use it as a natural preservative I'm not sure.

Question:	How long is the shelf life? When did you buy yours and what is the expiration date
Answer:	I"ve never had a bag long enough to worry about any kind of expiration date! However, that being said, new bag arrived today has expiration of 6/24/21, if that helps!
