Answer:	I pour a little oil into one of the wells and spread it around the top and bottom of both wells with a paper towel BEFORE heating the unit. I do not add any water at any time, just beat 4 eggs with some seasoning salt and add about 1/4 to 1/3 cup grated cheese (cheddar, jack, what ever you like), pour into heated unit, not exceeding fill line. Hope this helps. Also, you can add things like olives, chopped roasted bell peppers, what ever you like after beating in the cheese, just don't overfill the wells!

Answer:	The instructions say 12 minutes. I set a timer for 10 minutes and another one for 12 minutes. I check at 10 minutes and that is usually enough but sometimes I let it go to 12 and it is more "browned". I use egg substitutes but I would imagine that it would be the same for regular eggs. I put chopped ham, onions, and bell peppers in mine and it is the best omelet ever!

Answer:	I am not diabetic, I was trying these as a low carb way to stave off hunger. They did seem to keep me from having sugar spikes and lows, and also seemed to help control hunger. But they were too fattening for weight loss purposes and I stopped eating them. They wrapper says 1 net carb, bit under nutritional info, it says over 20. Even factoring out fiber, its too high for a dieter.
