User questions & answers
Question: | H I w do i say no substitutions |
Answer: | When you finalize your order for whole foods, you have a choice to edit each item and either allow substitutions or not allow them. You can even present what substitute would be acceptable for an example, you can say if whole foods strawberry ice cream is not in stock your good with the Ben and Jerry's strawberry ice cream.....or if honey crisp apples organic is not in stock that conventional honey crisp apples are ok. From a shopper standpoint, if we see that the item requested is not in stock we get the computer's suggestions on what to offer customers. Sometimes the computer will tell us to swap out out of stock items for something that isnt even in the same ballpark of what customers want so we use our discretion of what is closest item in price and type. When we substitute the customer has at least 3 minutes to accept or deny the replacement. Hope that helps. |
Question: | Received 3 lemons ordered 3 honey crisp apples?ples |
Answer: | Honey crisp apples must have been out of stock and through the computers suggestions based on past purchases it probably suggested that lemons would be a suitable swap. Some shoppers would go with what the computer suggests, if it were me and most other shoppers we would replace out of stock apple with another variety. Its important to fill out the list at the end of checkout and let your shoppers know what can be replaced and what can't be. You also need to keep an eye on your phone while shop is taking place because you have the opportunity to not accept replacement items but once shop is complete and the 3 minutes go by that are built in to wait for customers response, what us in cart is final...replacement and all. |
Question: | Good for stuffing |
Answer: | I would not waste a honey crisp apple in stuffing. These are the most delicious apples, but what makes them so wonderful is the texture. By cooking it you will be losing most of the best part. I’m sure they would still taste great. |
Question: | do you have your brand white beans in cans |
Answer: | Whole foods does have their generic brand for Great Northern Beans. |
