Answer:	I measured the 1.4oz that the pkg said is a serving and it measures approx 1/4 cup and it is 7ish pieces.

Answer:	After reading some of the questions and answers here, I got concerned about whether or not this product had substantial amounts of added sugar. I found the nutrition label on the company website that indicated there were 30 g of sugar in a 40 g serving. I also read a review of the product here where the verified purchaser went into great depth explaining the manufacturing process, which apparently does involve the use of sugar but only results in adding a very small amount of it to the final product. Interesting stuff if you like chemistry. However, that was not sufficient enough for me. So, I looked at the product labels of about a dozen other popular brands of dried pineapple and discovered that they all indicated they had in the ballpark of 30 g of sugar per 40 g a serving, even though all of their labels indicated that no sugar was added. This suggests to me that 30 g of naturally occurring sugar is typical for a 40 g serving of similar products. According to the reviewer whose post I referred to above, only .5 g of the 30 g of sugar in the 40 g serving is added in the processing.
