Answer:	The serving size is not 5-6 ounces. It is 1/2 cup or .35 ounces by weight. Keep in mind that these are dehydrated, so there is almost no weight to them.

Answer:	No, nor does it contain any other kind of sweetener, just 5 grams of sugar per 1/2 cup serving which is found in the strawberries themselves, strawberries are the ONLY ingredients listed.. (And I believe once rehydrated, that half cup of strawberries is closer to a cup.) Hope this is helpful.

Answer:	Rita: For 100g, the naturally occurring sugar is 61.03. There is about 4 servings in each jar (which is 28g or 1 oz). Does this help?

Answer:	I didn't think it was a lot. It was just a powder from broken strawberries.
Question:	A full quart equals how many ounces of freeze dried berries
Answer:	I measured 3.5 oz in the quart that I just opened. This was done on a kitchen scale accurate to 0.1 oz. I don't trust these other numbers. If someone was only given 1.75 oz then they should have sent it back.
Question:	How long will these last unopened
Answer:	The seals are poor. I suggest to transfer these into a sealed container. I also found the berries to be powdery. I don't recommend. You're better off buying from a food survival place. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I'm not sure, because they get eaten. I have had them last more than a year and still taste perfect, if that helps.
Question:	Why are these so outrageously expensive? $29 for 0.8 oz
Answer:	It takes a LONG time to remove all the water after drying. Have you ever had ice dubbed that disappeared from your freezer, when they were unused? That's called subliminization, and that's how freeze-drying works. Took quite a while, right? That's what takes so long. But your shelf life is extended by years rather than months if unopened, which is why they're so handy. Also, they're great for kid's snacks, as they crunch but don't cling to the teeth like dried fruit and fruit leather do.

INGREDIENTS

• 100 gram chocolate bar (tastes great with milk, dark, and white!)
• ½ cup Crunchies Mixed Fruit

DIRECTIONS

1. Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler. (Make sure to stir!)
2. Place a sheet of parchment paper over a cookie sheet and pour melted chocolate into the center. Use a spatula to smooth it into a thin oval.
3. Sprinkle the Crunchies evenly over the chocolate and set the sheet in the fridge to harden for at least 30 minutes.

Answer:	I just made a smoothie using these and it was great. It was not at all gritty. They ground up very well. In my smoothie: banana (this was a little more liquidy than a regular banana, as it was very ripe and had just thawed from the freezer), strawberries, these freeze-dried blueberries (straight out of the bag), a little Greek yogurt, honey, and ice.

Answer:	The expiration date on mine was roughly two years out from the date of purchase. It’s freeze dried, so should last a long time, probably longer than the printed date.

In rural communities throughout the world, prices for fresh fruit are low in the peak season when supply exceeds demand. Farmers take their fruit to local markets but can only sell up to 30% of their harvest. The rest goes unsold and rots.

Drying fruit is a simple preservation technique, which means no fruit is wasted due to rot, and the farmers sell 100% of their harvest.

Mavuno Harvest works with small scaling farming cooperatives, mainly based in sub-Saharan Africa (Burkina Faso, Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, Uganda and Kenya).

Mavuno Harvest is a Direct Trade certified company, meaning the company builds and maintains relationships with the farmers and processors who grow our fruits and nuts. Direct Trade eliminates expensive steps between the farmer and consumer, and was developed to improve the increasingly convoluted fair trade system, which often places an expensive burden on farmers to maintain their certification. Direct Trade ensures that both the farmers (who are getting paid more) and the consumers (who are getting better products) are happy!

Question:	What about nutritional info? I need more than just the number of calories per serving. Foods marketed in the U are required to provide this info
Answer:	If you search the items individually you can find the info on the photos. On the brothers strawberry/banana it's 30 cals, 7g(2%) carbs and 1g fiber (4%) and 2% potassium (90mg). The other's I've had are pretty close. These things are great!
Question:	Are all these fruits crispy or are some of them chewy and soft
Answer:	All are crispy. Dry like astronaut ice cream. Some taste tart, some sweet. Little bit of fruit powder residue at bottom of each package.

Answer:	I'm not familiar with Whole 30, but all the products are 100% fruit, just freeze-dried. Nothing else added.
