Answer:	Hello Darcy Marohl, Unfortunately this is an area that we don't know much about, however, we can say that our Pink Himalayan Salt is iodine free and doesn't contain any caking agents, like pickling salt. If you were to can with our Sherpa Pink we would recommend our Extra - Fine Grain over our Medium/Coarse because our Extra - Fine dissolves a lot quicker in water. We would also recommend making a small amount at first to see how it turns out before canning all of your food, although we don't really see why it shouldn't work. Answer:	Yes. In their description they say to dissolve a hand full in warm water. This is a food grade salt. it may take longer to dissolve. To do a system cleansing bath use 1 1/4 lbs of salt. You would soak for 30 minutes. Take shower first because salt works best when not combined with soap. Sometimes I add lavender essential oils. I do use this salt for cleanse, however this salt may be expensive to use because you get 3 soaks per 5 lb bag, unless you go with the handfull seller recommends. I don't think it matters what size granules you use. Smaller grains dissolve faster.
