After a VERY frustrating conversation with a CS Rep, she could not identify why the sudden block but advised it could be at the bequest of the Manufacturer, Blue Air, or a new law preventing the shipment (I had just ordered the same filter in August, but blocked 3 weeks later). But even crazier, I also ordered the smaller filter for the 411 Blueair that I also own, and THAT ORDER SHIPPED and will be here tomorrow!!

Answer:	It means that it is time to change the filter. Purchase a new filter for the 211+. When you have it, unplug the purifier and lift the top off. Take the cloth prefilter off of the bottom half of the purifier (beware lots of dust-I try to turn it inside out like a T shirt to take it off). Wash this in the washing machine and dry. Take the new filter out of its box and remove all plastic wrapping etc. Lift the old paper filter off of the bottom half of the purifier. It might stick a little. Just be gentle and it will come off by lifting straight up. Throw this filter away in the box for the new filter. The new filter opens like a box. Replace the new filter on the bottom half of the purifier. Replace the cloth prefilter so that it just covers the top and bottom edges of the bottom half of the purifier. Replace the top part of the 211+ and plug into a socket. PUSH AND HOLD THE Touch Light for about 3-5 seconds (until the light flashes white). Release. You are ready to go!

Answer:	The normal package is one filter, and they cost around $50 each.
Question:	Is the part that covers the face like a hood that can be removed without having to take off the whole suit
Answer:	The smell of the replacement filters is now horrendous. I have never had an issue with any of their filters in the past but the one I just purchased in April was so horrible I haven’t used the unit since. I’m super dissatisfied. I think they need to manufacture the filters in the US and oversee their quality control.

Answer:	I was confused about this as well, so I asked a Blueair rep and he said...- The front of the unit is considered the side that opens- When the filter is inserted, the side that says This Side Must be Facing Front should be showingThis means the metal side should be towards the rear intake.He mentioned that if you were doing it the wrong way, it isn't a huge deal and should not harm the unit.

Answer:	Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. I'd recommend only purchasing them as you need them. That said, your best bet for storage would be to keep them in a Dry space. If they are stored in a humid environment for many years they may break down over time as the filter media is primarily polypropylene which breaks down in water.

Answer:	Hi there! Thanks for reaching out! All Blueair units have been thoroughly tested and certified to comply with the California Air Resource Board criteria to emit less than 0.050 ppm. We wouldn't be able to sell any unit in the United States that doesn't meet these qualifications. Additionally, tests conducted by 3rd party research firms, such as SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden, have shown that Blueair units may even reduce levels of ozone within a room.

Answer:	I don’t know why. For which product? Maybe it does not have one-star reviews.
Question:	Does the blue flashing light stay on 24/7 unless I unplug it
Answer:	It makes no sense, because the filter for the Blue Pure 211+, which is exactly the same but less tall, doesn't have this restriction. And Amazon will sell you the whole Pure 121 unit, which includes this filter. I have seen this before from Amazon, and once an item gets tagged as not shippable to a given location, it is very hard to get an explanation or have it changed (if wrong). But you could try chatting with Amazon to see if they can offer an explanation.
Question:	Are the dough hook and beater metal or plastic
Answer:	I think if you need the smoke filter you'd have bigger problems than a Blueair can fix! Blueair has room size recommendations, I suspect the 400 series is not big enough to filter air from an office space with a computer server room.
