Answer: | So you cook with them after your whole30 which is not a forever diet, it’s an elimination diet. It was based in part on Robb Wolf’s 30 Day Paleo. Yes you eliminate sugars, corn and other grains as well as dairy and alcohol. But you reintroduce those sorts of things very carefully and slowly. I use maple sugar in a lot of cooking. I love it on sweet potatoes for example. I never returned grains to my diet as a regular thing but traditionally chili is made with masa. That’s corn and a single gram of it won’t kill you. Compare these mixed to the factory mixes with the unpronounceable ingredients that add nothing and can be harmful. Anticaking. For people who can’t figure out how to bust up lumps with a fork. |

I know salt is a component of all the Kosmos Q lines. My only wish is that they made a reduced salt version. I would buy it by the buckets. |

Answer: | After tasting it I think it would be excellent for pork rinds and I'll be trying that when I get the next butcher delivery. |

Answer: | You could if you like that flavor profile, but I think it would be better in butter as a baseting the bird if your smoking it. Check out Sam the cooking guy on YouTube on how he did his bird. I'm doing a butter and black garlic for basting my birth even I smoked it. Black garlic is easy to make just takes forever. It's a must try if you never have tasted it. |

Answer: | I wouldn't call it hot, but definitely spicy. I like to make my own rub, including a fair amount of brown sugar (like most rubs), but bought a bottle of this at Sam's Club (who doesn't sell it anymore, it seems) just so that I'd have a backup for times when I might run out of my own, but might be short on time to whip up a new batch. This rub has no sugar and no flour, both of which would weaken the flavor. When I first started using this, I missed the sweetness of my own rub (though you could add your own sugar, I didn't), but the flavor grew on me. Just a light sprinkling adds a good amount of flavor to whatever you use it on. Use more if you like spicier. |
