User questions & answers
Question: | How did rock springs and green river make the final design and not fort bridger? by far the most historically important site in the entire state |
Answer: | If you get the 12 pack its 12 then |
Question: | Is there a way to have two items be shipped at the same time / together to the same address |
Answer: | Check the verbage carefully! My first purchase only resulted in a single bandana although it stated "bandanas" and had to go back and purchase more. The second time, after reading carefully to what was offered I recieved a full dozen. Not sure if it was the same vendor I went through. They were of excellent quality and the boys have reused them over and over since the paintball party I intended them for. |
Question: | Is it made in china or usa |
Answer: | This particular listing is for one single bandana just make sure to read the listing carefully however some other listings do sell by the dozen. |
Question: | What about West-Virginia |
Answer: | I examined the photo that is connected to your question and when I zoomed in I could clearly see 'Made In USA' printed on the bottom left corner, in black. I then took a look at mine, both the dark red and the pink. They look to have the exact pattern as the one on Amazon, they are also made by Have a Hank and they both have printed 'Made In China'. They also both had a tiny white tag that said '100% Cotton Made In China' and I cut them off. Hopefully this all means that the manufacturer has moved production back to the US. You could always Google the manufacturer to see if there is any helpful information on their web site. |

Why Bamboo?
Bamboo is gentler on knives than plastic and easier to clean and maintain than hardwood— it cleans quickly with hand washing in warm water.
As a grass, its roots remain and quickly regrows after harvest. It's grown organically even on difficult terrain without artificial irrigation or re-planting.
Its root system helps to prevent erosion. And the Moso bamboo used by Totally Bamboo is not a part of the panda's diet.
Bamboo from the Beginning
Totally Bamboo has long led the way in beautiful, innovative bamboo kitchen solutions.
The company's founders, Tom and Joanne Sullivan, are artists who created the first bamboo cutting boards as gifts for friends and family from the scraps of their original products, director’s chairs. The cutting boards were lightweight, strong and had outstanding knife feel. The boards were such hits, Tom and Joanne discovered they were onto something special and Totally Bamboo was born.
Totally Bamboo stands behind their product quality. For any questions or issues, their California-based support staff is always happy to help.

A Road Map of Louisiana Cooking
Thanks for joining me on my journey of discovering what makes Louisiana cooking so unique. In the pages of Fresh from Louisiana, I’ve delivered a road map of the culinary delights that await you and the fresh ingredients that will astound you. Eating in the South is tied to the seasons, and Louisiana is no exception. The recipes I’ve chosen for this book are divided that way to ensure the freshest ingredients are available during the respective growing season. Farm fresh is the cultural mandate of Louisiana cooking and the essence of what sets it apart. As a child, I learned to anticipate the market seasons: Ponchatoula strawberries in the spring, Creole tomatoes in the summer, Evangeline sweet potatoes in the fall, and a pot full of farm-fresh collards in the winter. And the Louisiana soil I grew up on delivered.
Sweet Tea–Brined Chicken
I have an extra-large black iron skillet just for dishes like this one. I love the cast-iron conduction that evenly distributes the heat throughout the chicken and caramelizes the vegetables and lemons to add more flavor. And this chicken is cooked uncovered so that the skin will brown for that extra crispy snap when you bite into it. This is sure to become one of your favorite recipes.
Apricot Pistachio Cobbler
For me, cobbler is the official dessert of the South. And in this version, I combine a few eclectic ingredients that sing to me with a French harmony of flavors. Fresh apricots rock. At their vine-ripened peak, juices flow and the fleshy interior of these little orbs welcome you with just one bite full of flavor. Baked in a honey-kissed recipe with the crunch of pistachios, this is one easy dessert to cobble together. Serve with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
Creole Cioppino
Louisiana Creole tomatoes, the Cajun holy trinity (onions, celery, and bell pepper) of vegetables, crusty French bread, and fresh Gulf shrimp, oysters, blue crab, and snapper are the building blocks of a righteous bowl of cioppino. My fish soup recipe is as simple as it sounds, but just like its Pacific Coast counterpart, it depends on freshness. Wherever you live, you must find a fishmonger you can trust to source the quality ingredients necessary for a truly memorable bowl of cioppino.
Gulf Coast Shrimp Boil
I love shrimp season in Louisiana. The opening of the Vermilion Bay inshore waters in late May signals the start of an endless summer supply of fresh Gulf shrimp. While I’m ready with a stack of recipes, there is no denying that a simple backyard shrimp boil is the purest (and best) recipe for shrimp from Louisiana waters. And while it’s easy, there is one cardinal rule for a shrimp boil: Do Not Overcook. What you do from there can only elevate the experience. Other ingredients? Beer? Spice level? Dipping sauce? Did I say the beer? Let’s get to boiling.
Boiled Peanuts Just Ahead
Today, it’s “McDonald’s Next Exit.” Back then, it was “Boiled Peanuts Just Ahead.” As soon as you hit Mississippi and all through Alabama, Georgia, and into Tennessee, there was an endless procession of boiled peanut outposts. Some were behind the counter of the country store or next to the register inside the gas station, but just as many were sold roadside out of the back of a pickup.
These were hardworking families with a dream and a sack of goobers. Just a washtub and a wood fire were all that was needed to set up shop along the red clay roadways of the South. A quarter for a bag of salt-infused boiled peanuts was a bargain and would get you down the road until the next stop.
Though times have changed, boiled peanuts are still a summer obsession for most dyed-in-the-wool Southerners, me included.
On a recent road trip across the Southeast with Roxanne and our daughter Lauren, we decided to get off the interstates and take to the back roads in search of that long-lost American South that I remember so well. And good news: it’s still there, boiled peanuts included. As we traveled through our neighboring states, we looked for them anywhere and found them most everywhere.
But there’s a twist: Cajun-spiced peanuts are all the rage, and you’ll be hard-pressed not to find a Louisiana version just about anywhere in the Southeast. And not to be outdone by my hillbilly brethren, I have a spiked-up recipe to share with you.
Braised Collards in Hock Stock
For me, this is soul food at its best, and cozying up to a steaming bowl of collards is a deep dive into the roots of Southern cooking that are forever entwined with my humble heritage. Smoked meat is the key, and in the smokehouses of South Louisiana, smoked ham hocks are easy to find. The meat clings close to the bone until it lets go of its flavor and infuses the smoky essence of a good stock. I’m amazed by how much meat is on a pork hock, and after picking the chunks away from the bones, you have a mound of smoked ham to add to the greens. Serve with chow chow relish.
Macadamia Nut Ice Cream Sandwiches
The rich sweetened cream contrasts with the saltiness of roasted macadamia nuts, and when combined between two cookies, my Macadamia Nut Ice Cream Sandwich is a study in the art of sandwich making—ice cream style.
Coffee-Rubbed Prime Rib
The juices from this prime rib, roasted to perfect pink, mingle with spicy seasonings and savory herbs to produce a heavenly jus. My secret weapon is coating the exterior with oil and my deep, dark coffee rub accented with grated lemon zest and chopped rosemary; this combination ensures a crusty exterior. And when bathed over roasted fingerling potatoes, this meat and potatoes combo is the foundation of a most elegant holiday dinner. For the requisite horseradish cream, blend equal parts prepared horseradish and mayonnaise.
Cherry Bounce
Deep, dark, and volatile is the most expressive way to describe this explosive elixir. It’s Cherry Bounce—a tasty combination that plays on two of my favorite themes: Kentucky bourbon and ripe cherries. Just one sip of the smoky roundness of bourbon kissed with the sweet juice of dark cherries and it’s time to celebrate.
This recipe is a textbook example of plan-ahead, delayed-gratification, kitchen experimentation at its best. It only takes a matter of minutes to make, but to enjoy it takes at least six months. Dark cherries, bourbon, and sugar complete the ingredient list, but time is what’s most needed to work magic. Don’t use the good stuff here: a blind taste test pitting Ancient Age bourbon against pricier upscale brands was an eye-opener that cheap can sometimes be better.

User questions & answers
Question: | Has anyone actually bought and smelled Nebraska |
Answer: | You must make a bigger one, in 100% cotton. In the summer, it offers good protection against the sun and it picks up your sweat real good, if made out of cotton. Poly just makes you hotter... 27 X 27 please, minimum. Also, when riding my bike, I like to keep one wrapped around the throat cowboy style to keep it warm at night and at high speeds. |
Question: | What is the scent of PA. smell |
Answer: | Was a bit expensive but it served its purpose but was just as good as the rest of them |

User questions & answers
Question: | My kids love gumbo but w/o the spice. What's the difference between cajun and creole? It's hard to find plain. It's either cajun or creole |
Answer: | San Marcos, CA |
Question: | base and roux the same |
Answer: | Agreed! -- Daughter of a vet! |
Question: | What is the expiration date on the Gumbo Mix |
Answer: | Actually... I'm convinced it would be almost indispensable during hunting season. Hadn't gone there? Definitely not a color I would use for everyday purposes - a tad too flamboyant for my own taste, however, were I hunting, in my opinion, it would be essential. |
Question: | I know nothing about gumbo but my dad loves it. What needs to be added to complete the gumbo? I don't enjoy cooking. Is it hard with the mix |
Answer: | I just kept throwing them in with any colored wash I happened to be doing. They're finally ready for use after about5-6 washings. They are worth the wait! |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can you use the air fryer mix in a skillet pan or oven |
Answer: | Gunpowder , scrapple and pine trees. |
Question: | Does it contain any mammal by-products such as milk, butter, cream, etc |
Answer: | Wamsutter, Patrick Draw, and many other towns didn't make the final design as well. My guess would be because of limited space |
Question: | Can it be use in air fryer oven |
Answer: | I would think if you ordered the two items on the same order going to the same address that they would ship together, but that is really a question for whoever is shipping the items. |
Question: | Is it for shrimp as well |
Answer: | China |
