Answer:	You can't leave it outside. The backboard is made of particle board and rain would ruin it. I place mine on top of a fence so the kids can play and store it at the end of the day.

Answer:	Put the back rim square on the board Put bracket over and screww in where holes are with the metal plate sheet on the bac were the screws enter.. Rough minded a lil cuz purchased mine a yr ago. But after that mount on the wall with screws into a stud. Or hang from the door. Door most likly wont close though
