Each of our syrups is a lot more concentrated than other brands and deliver maximum flavor with minimum sweetness. What this means is that you would not need to use very much syrup to flavor your beverage. We typically suggest start with 1/2 to 1 pump of syrup per 8 oz and slowly add more until you find a flavor level that makes you happiest. Feel free to experiment with adding a hint of sweetener of your choice and see what that does for the flavor for you. You can, indeed, use these syrups for Italian sodas.
